Nicanors debut wasnt one to remember. Hurting himself on his very first stride, the 3-year-old full brother of 2006 Kentucky Derby winner Barbaro finished 10th of 12 horses in a one-mile maiden race at Gulfstream Park on Saturday, hardly an encouraging step toward what his connections hoped would be a journey into this years Triple Crown races. Under jockey Edgar Prado, who was aboard ill-fated Barbaro three years ago, Nicanor made a move near the half-mile mark but never got close to the lead and eventually slowed to little more than a gallop, beaten 25 lengths by 30-1 shot Warriors Reward. But really, it was over at the start, when Nicanor (by Dynaformer) essentially stumbled over his own feet. The back of his foot grabbed his quarter coming out of the gate, said co-owner Roy Jackson. Itll be a bit painful. But we got the first race in him, and well go from here. Nicanors debut came two years and two days after Barbaro, who shattered his right hind leg in the Preakness, was euthanized because of complications from that injury. Even after the rocky start, Nicanor settled in near the rail. After passing the half-mile pole, Prado moved Nicanor into traffic a bit, trying to find a hole, but one never opened. With that, Prado saved Nicanor for another day. We got a horrible break, Prado said. He stumbled out of the gate. After that, I realized we didnt have much today. I thought I could get him in position to do something after the start, but he just didnt have anything after that. I didnt want to do anything stupid. There was plenty of buzz around Gulfstream on Saturday, partly because of the Grade 3, $150,000 Holy Bull Stakes for Derby-hoping 3-year-olds (where Saratoga Sinner prevailed) and the Grade 1, $500,000 Donn Handicap for older horses (the race that immediately followed Nicanors debut, with Albertus Maximus holding off Finallymadeit for a narrow victory in that 1-1/8 mile test). But mostly, the talk around Gulfstreams rail Saturday was all Nicanor, all the time. When co-owner Gretchen Jackson walked past the finish line area at 3:15 p.m. — more than an hour before Nicanor went to the post—two men scrambled to capture the moment on cell phone cameras, one of them shouting Good luck! as she made her way by. Trainer Michael Matz heard many of the same cries as he climbed the stairs to his seat before the race. And as Nicanor came into the view of fans for the first time at 4:25, many in the estimated crowd of 3,000 packed five-deep around the saddling ring broke into applause, with a few more clapping when Prado climbed aboard for the short trek over to the track. The 4-1 second choice in the morning line was actually bet down to 3-5 at one point, before going off at 5-2. I dont think you can really tell a great deal from this, Roy Jackson said. He ran really fast at the beginning, which didnt help the situation. Barbaro had plenty of history at Gulfstream, winning the Holy Bull there three years ago before going on to win the Kentucky Derby by 6 1/2 lengths. But he never finished another race. He shattered three bones in his right hind leg in the opening strides of the Preakness, then defied the odds by surviving eight months and enduring close to two dozen operations, but ultimately succumbed to laminitis, an often life-threatening problem in horses who shift their weight to one leg to keep pressure off another injured limb. The second anniversary of Barbaros death was Thursday, which made Nicanors debut come at a bittersweet time for Prado, Matz and the Jacksons. Its unclear when Nicanor will run again; his connections will have to wait and see how severe the injury is before figuring out the 3-year-olds next move. We have an excuse, Gretchen Jackson said. So well have to wait til next time.

Six weeks of aggravation for trainer Barclay Tagg turned around big time Saturday at Aqueduct when his Tale of Ekati was put up to first place from second by the stewards in the $300,000 Cigar Mile. The Grade 1 race was marred by the breakdown of Wanderin Boy, the 7-year-old Nick Zito trainee who had to be euthanized after shattering the sesamoids in his left foreleg. Earlier on the card, Springside suffered a fractured pastern in her right foreleg after winning the Grade 2 Demoiselle by 9 1/2 lengths. She was to be sent to New Bolton on Sunday, according to New York Racing Association officials. The Cigar Mile ended a 0-for-41 skid in New York for Tagg, whose last victory came at Belmont on Oct. 18. Saturday's victory did not come without controversy as the stewards deliberated for five minutes before making the race official. Harlem Rocker, under Eibar Coa, went three wide turning for home and took the lead in upper stretch from pacesetting Monterey Jazz. Meanwhile, Tale of Ekati rallied along the rail under Edgar Prado. Outside the eighth pole, Harlem Rocker drifted in from the three-path toward the rail, forcing Prado take a hold of Tale of Ekati and guide him to the outside. Harlem Rocker had a two-length lead at the eighth pole, but Tale of Ekati re-rallied and came within a nose of Harlem Rocker at the finish. The stewards immediately posted the inquiry sign, and Prado ordered a hold put on the race. According to NYRA steward Carmine Donofrio, the disqualification was made because the incident "affected the outcome of the race." "There's no question we came over; the horse didn't, to me, appear to check," said Harlem Rocker's trainer, Todd Pletcher, who did not rule out an appeal of the decision. Tale of Ekati "altered course, he got to us, he had every opportunity to go by. In my opinion he was never going by." Said Prado: "That little check cost me a little momentum at the end. He only beat him by a nose. I think the stewards made the right decision." Tale of Ekati, who won the Grade 1 Wood Memorial and Grade 2 Jerome earlier in the year, returned $19.80 to win. The final time of the race was 1:35.01.
The Piano Sonata No. 16 in C major, K. 545 by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart is possibly his most famous piano sonata. It was described by Mozart himself in his own thematic catalogue as "for beginners," and it is sometimes known by the nickname Sonata facile or Sonata semplice.[1] Mozart added the work to his catalogue on June 26, 1788, the same date as his Symphony No. 39. The exact circumstances of the work's composition are not known, however. Although the piece is very well known today, it was not published in Mozart's lifetime, first appearing in print in 1805. A typical performance takes about 14 minutes. As a rough guide, using the Associated Board of the Royal Schools of Music grading system (in which grade one music can be played by a grade one musician, etc; with grades ranging from one to eight), the first movement is approximately grade 5, the middle, slower movement falling just over the requirements for grade 6; with the final rondo being rather challenging, and therefore approximately seven.[

For those who don't know, this is the single best way to farm for grade. To most, it's known as the Rita Grade Farming Trick/Cheat. In most tales games, you have to constantly win battles after battles to get grade. With this trick, it takes about 10 battles or so until you're doing with. Aim for 18450 Grade. BTW, I made a Grade FAQ on gamefaqs.

***** Story of Natsume yujin chou 13 1/3 ***** Natsume got lost being separated from Nyanko Sensei on the way to Nanatsujiya the steamed bean-jam bun shop since Nyanko Sensei told him that he found a shortcut to the shop, but he could see a great view from that mountain because of it. Mean while, Nyanko Sensei noticed that he got separated from Natsume too and he said "Ok then I'll wait for Natsume for like 5 seconds. 1...2..." but he started to slide since he stepped on wet leaves and he bumped to Tanuma the one of Natsume's friends and stopped. Tanuma recognized Nyanko Sensei as a Natsume's pet but he couldn't remeber the name so he was like "Nyan Nyan Sensei? or some..." so he decided to call him "Ponta". Then Nyanko Sensei woke up and said "I'm Nyanko Sensei!" and he said "I think you are Tanuma. You did better than I expected even though I though you are dum". Nyanko Sensei had been thinking that Tanuma already knew that Nyanko Sensei is a monster, not a cat since Tanuma is Natsume's good firend but actually Natsume hasn't told Tanuma about it yet. So now Tanuma got surprised as hell at Nyanko Sensei talking. But Tanuma started to talk to Nyanko Sensei and he asked Nyanko Sensei if he's a monster then Nyanko Sensei said "I'm a higher grade one, don't evenn think I'm a same kind of monsters out there." Then Tanuma said "it's very first time for me to talk with a monster". Tanuma has a abolity to see monsters like Natsume has but his one is not strong as Natsume's so he sometimes could see but sometimes he only could see part of it or feel it. Then Nyanko Sensei said "Oh that's why Natsume didn't tell you about monsters alot since you are not valid or some for it". Tanuma got shocked hearing it since he's been feeling comfortable having Natsume as his friend having same kind of abilities and experiences. So Tanuma just said "oh, I see...it may be so...". Tanuma asked Nyanko Sensei what he is for Natsume and if he doen't annoy Natsume, then Nyanko Sensie asked Tanuma back "I'm a Sensei for Natsume what do you mean?" So Tanuma said "no matter what you said, you don't look like you are a Sensei for him, you should be the one to be taken care of. But if it's true you may threaten him or some" now Nyanko Sensei got extremely mad and he tried to eat Tanuma but then Natsume showed up and gave him a punch and saved Tanuma. Tanuma asked Natsume why Nyanko Sensei is with him. Natsume said "Sensei's kinda like a guard for me..." Tanuma felt sorry for asking remembering what he heard earlier from Nyanko Sensei and he said "Oh you don't have to answer if you don't want to". Then Natsume was like "it's not like that, it's so complicated so I don't know how I can explain...not like I wanted to hide from you..." but Natsume thought that he had to tell him the truth on second thought so he said "Nah maybe I wanted hide it from you since I didn't make you feel uncomfortable and I wanted to keep talking with you normally" so Tanuma asked Natsume back "so you are feeling uncomfortable?" being worried about Natsume. Nyanko Sensei told Natsume that he could catch a big fish from the river, and Natsume answered to Tanuma's question "It's not uncomfortable actually". Nyanko Sensei noticed the sound of people getting ready for autumn festival and he said "Let's go see it" even though Natsume told him it hasn't begun yet. And Tanuma said he could come with them since the shrine that has the festival is on his way back home. There was Sasada the class representative at the shrine helping somebdy but again she started to be curious and nosy about monsters at the crowded place like that since she saw Natsume's there. She wanted to know if they actually were or some but she had to get back to work. So Natsume and Tanuma decided to get her lost and left... leaving Nyanko Sensei there **************************** 夏目友人帳 Natsume yujin chou Episode 13 - 2/3: http://jp.youtube.com/watch?v=sqlnLLzbdpQ 夏目友人帳 Natsume yujin chou Episode 13 - 3/3: http://jp.youtube.com/watch?v=awbJZiT_vjo **************************** Natsume Yujin Cho 13 - the final episode 1/3 : "Aki no Yaen (The Autumn Banquet) - 秋の夜宴" - exclusive for TV Anime (based on a part of original episode) Natsume Yujin Chou Opening Theme Song: "Issei no Sei" by "Kita Shuhei" Natsume Yujin Chou Ending Theme Song: "Natsu yuzora" by "Atari Kosuke"
Part #1 of the opening to one of my all time favorite PC games, JumpStart Adventures 3rd Grade: Mystery Mountain. I loved this game when I was a kid. Its rare when a game meant to educate you is so much fun. For those who also grew up playing it, I hope you enjoy this bit of nostalgia. I cant believe after all these years it still works. Awesome. 8D This game had a sci-fi theme to it. The plot was that Polly Spark, the bratty daughter of a scientist, used her dad's time machine to send 25 robots into the past to screw up time. You, the player, had to help a friendly robot named Botley rescue the other robots and stop Polly from making the world really weird. I had forgotten how long the introduction was. This also includes the memory game you had to play to get into the mountain. This game and its characters are NOT mine. They are (c) Knowledge Adventure, Inc. Special thanks to my brother for helping me record this.

My friend Tina is a teacher in Austin. She asked her sixth grade students to send me questions they had about astronomy, and I answer them on camera. There were so many I had to split this into *5* parts! This is the part. I really only answer one question: What is the Big Bang theory, and do I think it's real? But I also take a moment to talk about science, and why it's so cool.
My friend Tina is a teacher in Austin. She asked her sixth grade students to send me questions they had about astronomy, and I answer them on question. There were so many I had to split this into *5* parts! This is Part 2, and these are the questions they asked me: 1) Why is gravity different on the Moon? 2) Why are planets round? 3) How deep do the gases on Jupiter go? 4) Are Uranus and Neptune solid ice? 5) Why is Uranus tipped over? 6) Can a moon have a moon? 7) Can you touch a comet and land on an asteroid? 8) Does Titan smell like poop? :-) [NOTE: I made an error in this one; Titan's atmosphere is mostly nitrogen, with about 1-2% methane. That's lot more than on Earth, but it's not "mostly methane" as I say in the video. Oops.] 9) Will my school get hit by a meteorite? 10) What would happen if you hit a golf ball on the Moon?
A very lovely grade 1 song from C. Norton I don't practice this song or play it to perform it's simply because I was in the mood and everything was already set up from my piano lesson I thought, hey why not record it. If I sound tired in this video it's because it was almost 2 am and I had already been teaching all day and I was running low on energy. Anyway! I hope you enjoy this ^_^
