Today is GURU POORNIMA 2011, hence I am dedicating this semi-classical Raga Malkauns Based Bhajan "Man Tadapat Hari Darshan Ko" (Film : Baiju Bawara) my Flute GURU Shri Shirdi Sai Baba under whose LOTUS FEET I learnt my Flute. I just returned from Sai Baba Temple in Flushing, New York and thought of recording this on my Base Flute. I have played this on Deep Base Flute with Scale of W4 for first time on YouTube. At the begining of this tune, I have played a short Raga Malkauns Notes and thereafter the Bhajan with light Tanpura in the background to enhance the BASE sound of Flute. Because of DEEP MEDITATIVE sound, the tune sounds very spiritual. When I just recorded this, I did not believe to see that it has come out pretty good. It is, however, not a worship of any particular person, but that of Par-Brahm who is manifested in the inner-self of the Guru. It is an expression of gratitude to our Pujya Gurudev for the Brahm Gyan that he imparted to us.
