The Song is sung in what is called Yellow Hmong(Hmoob Dlaag) It is dialect of hmoob similar to white Hmong but with differences in some vowles for example the white hmong vowel "ua" is pronounced "a" and white hmong "o" is "ao" if one knows the differences then it is quite easy to understand just like if one knows the differences between green and white one can understand both. In china the yellow hmoob are called Hmong suav by other groups of hmong but the call themselves hmoob dlaag. in China they are called 偏苗This Song was performed in Gui Zhou at a hmong festival called lub 4 hli xiab 8. the two were awarded the 2nd place prize. The song has become popular among the hmong all across the country of china now, and is one of the most known hmong songs this year.
