I changed the world on my lunch break at the Renaissance festival where I work and it was fun. These smart, adventurous, willing souls took time out of their play time to help me work on a very serious matter: Political money wars over your tax dollars. Right now it is a feeding frenzy in the dark when it comes to what happens with your tax dollars. The party in power or the ones in power that you don't see make all the choices for you. This part of the system is not working. It leads to shady deals and endless corruption. Brother in laws getting contracts with the state at thrice the price and so on. If you can imagine it, it is happening. We hope to put the exchange of tax money in a well lit glass box for America to see (in the for of budgets on line) who is putting the money in the box and who it taking it out and why. Some political parties would like it all to go back in the dark and that the public really does not need to know what happens to their tax dollars other than they better pay them on time. These same people feel as though the general public is too dumb to understand anyway (we know that stealing is, we will understand that we promise). That is the mission of this lunch break.
From Charlie "The Phantom" Singleton's first album "Modern Man" (Arista, 1985). Charlie wrote and produced the album, sang on all tracks and played all the instruments as well. The original sleeve notes says everything about this multi-talent: Through the first half of the '80s, Charlie Singleton was a key creative force within the tremendously successful group Cameo.. .as a songwriter, singer, arranger, and multiinstrumentalist. He came on board for 1980's "Knights of the Sound Table" LP, and his role in Cameo kept expanding through the albums "Alligator Woman", "Style", and "She's Strange". Such hits as "For You," "Alligator Woman," "Be Yourself" and 1984's #1 single, "She's Strange," all bear the stamp of Singleton's singular musical sensibility. With "Modern Man", Charlie Singleton takes a long-planned step towards solo stardom. "Modern Man" is a concept he's been working on for years, a project that he took totally into his own hands. "The songs all lock together musically," he says, "and each one tells a story. You can picture what's going on." When Charlie goes into the studio, he takes extensive and far-reaching experience with him. Beginning in junior high school, he started learning to play brass instruments, moved on to woodwinds and guitar by high school, earned a music scholarship to Southern University in Baton Rouge, and picked up violin, bass violin, classical piano and percussion (by his estimation, Charlie now plays 47 instruments). He studied under ...
Bill Gates Death Panels Tip of Iceberg Paul Joseph Watson, Kurt Nimmo & Alex Jones www.infowars.com www.prisonplanet.tv September 15, 2010 Bill Gates' advocacy for "death panels" has caused controversy amongst conservative commentators, but the real outrage behind the story has been completely overlooked -- the fact that Gates is a hardcore eugenicist and has called for lowering the global population through vaccines which his foundation funds to the tune of billions. Gates' "death panel" comments were actually made over two months ago at the Aspen Ideas Festival in Aspen Colorado, but they only garnered attention when the video clip appeared on numerous conservative websites on Sunday, including Breitbart.tv and The Blaze. The Aspen Ideas Festival is a project of the Aspen Institute. The Aspen Institute is primarily funded by foundations such as the Carnegie Corporation, the Rockefeller Brothers Fund and the Ford Foundation. In 1952, the Rockefellers established the Population Council, a eugenics operation. Jurriaan Maessen and other researchers have documented how the Rockefeller Foundation has pioneered "anti-fertility vaccines" and worked with the UN Population Fund, World Bank and World Health Organization to reduce world population. "Just four years after the Rockefeller Foundation launched massive funding-operations into anti-fertility vaccines, the Task Force was created under auspices of the World Health Organization, World Bank and UN Population Fund," writes ...

www.mobsnews.com - Joey Chestnut lost in an eating contest, but at least it wasn't one for hot dogs. Instead, he lost a spicy chicken wings eating contest to Sonya Thomas, who is dwarfed by his size. Sony Thomas Weighs Less Than Half Chestnut's Weight Chestnut, who earlier this year won his fourth straight Nathan's Hot Dog Eating Contest, fell short, 168 to 181 in the ninth annual National Buffalo Wing Festival in Buffalo, New York. Joey Chestnut stands 6'2" and weighs 230 pounds, while Sonya Thomas stands 5' tall and weighs in at 105 pounds. In eating that many wings, Sonya Thomas herself four-peated, matching Chestnut's hot dog eating streak. She also set a new record. In terms of the weight of chicken they ate, Thomas ate 4.86 pounds of chicken, while Chestnut downed 4.55 pounds of chicken. Thomas is 43, which means she should still be protected from heart disease by her hormones. That's a good thing, 181 fried chicken wings are not a good thing, nutritionally? CBS estimated that she downed about 4583 calories, which is more than double the number of calories an average person needs in a single day (without counting the sauce). In addition, a further breakdown shows 198.7 grams of fat, 54 g of which is saturated far. That's also 1824 mg of cholesterol. The American Heart Association recommends consumption of less than 300 mg of cholesterol daily. Although both are pro eaters, Chestnut was favored to win. Thomas owns a number of other records, ranging from tater tots ...

This is a wake up call to people who have been suckered into believing Marxists. Socialism is the root of all evil once the money runs out and the only way for them to remain in control is to take you to war with their lies or to continue to oppress the people by suppressing and blocking their rights to take democratic control over their own countries. To keep the population ignorant of their aims they must dumb down your education. One of the things immediately noticeable about Marxists is that they never let on they are Marxists. Yet they are many in number and to be a Marxist then it is obvious that you have to be politically active. But where is your nearest Marxist Party? Well there was recently a Marxist Festival 2010 in London over 4 days, which held a conference for hundreds if not a few thousand Marxists. People like ex-Labour Govt minister Tony Benn attended and so did UAF leader Weyman Bennet to name just two. However there were many invited guests and speakers at this function, including authors, broadcasters, media people and politicians. Teachers and other academics attended too. It's on their website if you want to check it out. But surely anyone with any sense would know that Marxism died with the fall of the Berlin Wall wouldn't they? Surely they would presume that when the Berlin Wall was taken down by the previously oppressed peoples of East Berlin, that Marxism 'disappeared' with that wall or is that stretching the imagination a bit too far? Patently ...
From www.thesalsafoundation.com.au The Salsa Foundation is a Salsa Dance school founded and run by some of Melbourne's most addicted salsa dancers. Our aim is simple. Introduce as many people as possible to Salsa Dancing and get them addicted too, while raising money and awareness for various charities. We believe anyone can learn how to dance salsa, not just the professionals and world champions in those silly glittery outfits, and definitely not just for those snobby, elitist dancers who somehow think they are better than everyone else. Film: The Killer Directed by John Woo Hong Kong (1989) Action Thriller/Buddy Film 11 parts/110 mins In Cantonese with English subtitles (default) Please be sure to turn on the CC (closed captions) button to view subtitles (WARNING: Film contains violence and adult language. Rated R by MPAA) Synopsis: During a restaurant shoot-out, hitman Jeff (Chow Yun-Fat) accidentally hurts the eyes of a singer (Sally Yeh). Later, he meets the girl and discovers that if she does not have a very expensive operation very soon, she will go blind. To get the money for the surgery, Jeff decides to perform one last hit. The cop (Danny Lee), who has been chasing Jeff for a long time, is determined to catch him this time. Review: One of the high points of 1980s Hong Kong action cinema, The Killer (1989) is considered one of John Woo's most spectacularly assured examinations of honor among violent men on opposite sides of the law. Woo and frequent star Chow Yun-Fat blend existential cool with the serious (and seriously violent) passion of Sam Peckinpah, Sergio Leone, and Martin Scorsese, in a story about a hit man's crisis of conscience that pits old-fashioned notions of goodness against modern law enforcement. The artfully choreographed bloodshed becomes a sacrament, as the endless hail of bullets and bodies, particularly in the climactic church shootout, melodramatically heightens the physical cost of Jeff's doomed search for grace. Woo's signature slow-motion action theatrics, face-to-face ...

Update 17th Feb. Vice Pres of USA arrives for opening ceremonies, good chance these trails are not all what some think health wise. Will Thomas? There is science online to study if you think this is just conspiracy: www.scribd.com . I hope that is not what was going on. . Great 13 part article on the business and profit of the Olympic machine that needs 8 Billion in Canadian tax dollars: www.businessinsider.com . Feb. 9/2010 . Has bc's water been sold under NAFTA? in our airspace as well? Fog carries moisture, rain clouds don't. Now how unbelievable could that be? . Update: Vancouver games make Russia Today: www.youtube.com . Trails on the 2nd of Feb. in San Remo Italy: www.youtube.com . A good reason solar cells may be a waste of money just as much as the 2010 games cash which has not helped our poor and middle class workers, well except for temporary positions and overtime for those keeping us safe. Over 300 000 workers live below the poverty line with bc's lowest in Canada? minimum wage. . No real spirit on the street not like the festival atmosphere a world class event would generate, going downtown to get close up report. Hope it is a peaceful event all around and the benefits to the community do materialize. Never seen rents go down though unless you get on or passed by a waiting list for "co-op" housing. . I thought the fogging flights may lay off, like way off shore for all the Olympic spectacle but the sprays of fog were more than obvious today. Heard from a girl ...
Have you ever wondered about what happened at "81 APT"? The 3rd International Neoist Apartment Festival, the 1st one I organized, & the 1st one in baltimore? Welp, you won't get much more than a passing impression from this extremely impoverished documentation - even though I've gone to substantial lengths to improve it under better conditions than it was originally recorded. I've broken the recent feature edit into 9 parts here for youtube - one part for each day of the festival where things 'officially' happened. Nothing 'officially' happened on Monday, June 1 - so that's missing here. Despite the extreme lo-fi of this, I've decided to post it online - if only b/c I think this was a highly historic event. I was living in a 24 room mansion the rent for wch was initially NIL (ie: monetarily - we were expected to patrol a nearby abandoned school) - I think we eventually pd something like $200 or $250 a mnth. This became the Krononautic Organism's HQ. 81 APT was coproduced by the Merzaum Collective, the Krononauts (really mainly me), & the Neoists (Monty Cantsin & Tom Konyves came from Montréal) - & Doug Smith (aka Reverend Ivan Stang) of the Church of the subgenius sent an incredible package of (mostly his) 16mm films as his contribution. As such, 4 major creative groups were united, in toto, for the 1st time. As if that weren't enuf, people like Tom diventi & Keith Wörz, punk performance poets from the beat/Bukowski lineage, also participated - as did many other people ...
high quality / A music video was shot in late May to accompany the sole single from the album, "Wrong Side". In June 2006 Strapping Young Lad embarked on a short festival tour of Europe, including performances at the Rock am Ring and Rock im Park festivals in Germany and the Download Festival in England, which was followed by a second stage appearance at Ozzfest in July and August, where they played to some of their largest audiences in their career. In an interview conducted by Terrorizer in August 2006, Townsend explained why he decided to put the band on hold: At the end of the day, man, I'm just tired, and old, and bald, and fat, and grouchy, and bored. You know? So I was just like, I'm going to make this record, and do this stupid Ozzfest thing, and tell a bunch of stupid jokes in front of a lot of people at Download, then I'm just going to fuck off for a while. The bigger this gets, the less I care, to the point where I just need to go spend some time with my family. I don't wanna bastardise Strapping and all these other projects by doing it for the money. Strapping was about the big middle finger, and it still is, but I don't think it needs to go any further than this. Although Hoglan initially denied the definitive break-up of the band, saying they would go on tour in March 2007, he later stated Strapping Young Lad is on "extended hiatus", and might never reunite again. In May 2007, during a press conference held to promote his new solo album, Ziltoid the ...
