Second last Deep Purple Mk II gig Oslo Spektrum, Oslo, Norway - 15/11/1993 Review / Taken from: Jim Collins' checklist of Deep Purple live albums. Based on his own collection of official as well as unofficial material, Jim gives detailed information on what is actually a rather comprehensive collection of live Deep Purple. Possibly the best sounding bootleg I'd ever heard (until 1998) and one of the best Purple gigs in the history of the band. Forget Come Hell Or High Water, THIS is Deep Purple! The whole band is smoldering here, and as they rip through song after song from their extensive catalog, their significance in the scheme of things becomes apparent. Anyone doubting that Purple wasn't the greatest live hard rock band in history didn't hear one of these shows. If only the band could get their hands on these tapes and release them officially! It just seems unbelievable that Ritchie was leaving and the whole band knew it. They play with a sense of total abandon and there is no indication there are any problems off stage from the quality of the performance. In particular the intro to Difficult To Cure is a monster effort by the whole band, with some of the best improvisations of the tour. Truly a magical moment, from a wondrous, but ultimately sad finale.

Cheersiya sings Don't Speak by No Doubt (This is a repost vid) From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia "Don't Speak" is a song by the American rock band No Doubt. It was released as the third single from the band's second album Tragic Kingdom (1995) in 1996. Despite the song's popularity, "Don't Speak" did not chart on the Billboard Hot 100 (as rules of the times required commercial singles for charting and one was not issued for the song), but it did reach number one on the Billboard Hot 100 Airplay and stayed for sixteen weeks. The song also reached number one in the UK, New Zealand, Netherlands, and Australia. The single is No Doubt's most successful international single, propelling them to superstardom. "Don't Speak" is arguably No Doubt's biggest hit and was nominated for the Song of the Year and Best Pop Performance By A Duo Or Group With Vocal at the Grammy Awards of 1998. The song was ranked at number 495 in Blender magazine's "The 500 Greatest Songs Since You Were Born".[1 SONG LYRICS: You and me We used to be together Everyday together always I really feel That I'm losing my best friend I can't believe This could be the end It looks as though you're letting go And if it's real Well I don't want to know Don't speak I know just what you're saying So please stop explaining Don't tell me cause it hurts Don't speak I know what you're thinking I don't need your reasons Don't tell me cause it hurts Our memories Well, they can be inviting But some are altogether Mighty ...

Peta Party of the Century, 1999 Concert. Paul mccartney & Friends: The PETA Concert for Party Animals documents a September 18, 1999 charity concert for PETA, People For the Ethical Treatment of Animals, the highlight of which is a short set by Paul mccartney, one of his first live appearances after the 1998 death of his wife Linda. mccartney's six-song set ends the show on a high note. All the songs are drawn from his 1999 album Run Devil Run, which was largely an album of covers, the rock 'n' roll music he loved. This love comes through strongly in his set, beginning with a rousing "Honey Hush," and his perfectionism comes through when he stops the band during the intro of "Brown-Eyed Handsome Man," insisting the song didn't start well (he's right). The rest of the set is split between the slow-tempo, soulful numbers "No Other Baby" and "Lonesome Town," and the high-spirited "Try Not To Cry" and "Run Devil Run"
