Addressing some nonsense . . .
Last night, had a ton of homework when I edited this so I rushed through the editing and didn't check through it so hopefully everything is where it needs to be. I'll update later if need be. Edit: To make a correction to a mistake I made in the video, dewgong is weak to Grass, Electric, Rock, and Fighting. What I meant to say was that Electric is probably the only thing you will want to fight with seeing as grass is weak to ice and rock is weak to water. I had forgotten about fighting types at the time but those are also good against dewgong. I was probably thinking in terms of Kingdra having only the one weakness to dragon and that prompted me to say what I said on accident but who knows what goes through my head. =P Thank You and Enjoy! The streak-busters of the NBA hail from Dallas. And for whatever reason, unless there's an NBA title at stake, the Miami Heat simply cannot beat the Mavericks. Dirk Nowitzki scored 26 points, Jason Terry hit two big 3-pointers in the final 2 1/2 minutes, and the Mavericks ended Miami's 12-game winning streak by beating the Heat 98-96 on Monday night. It was Dallas' 14th straight regular-season win over the Heat, and the Mavericks were the last team to beat Miami this season, too. Dallas has now snapped six opponent winning streaks of at least five games this season -- including a pair of 12-gamers, against San Antonio on Nov. 26 and now against the Heat. Terry had the biggest blow, a 3-pointer with 1:25 left to put Dallas up 89-85. Miami got within 91-90 on a three-point play by LeBron James with 56 seconds left, before Shawn Marion hit three free throws in the next 37 seconds to extend the margin back to a somewhat-comfortable one for the Mavs. Terry finished with 19 and Caron Butler scored 13 for Dallas, which won despite giving up a 17-0 run in the first half and a 13-0 run in the third quarter. Dwyane Wade scored 22 points, while James and Chris Bosh each scored 19 for Miami. By the time Wade hit a 3-pointer with 0.8 seconds remaining, James was already tugging off his jersey and making the walk off the floor. Mario Chalmers had 13 points and James Jones added 10 for Miami. Marion finished with 13 rebounds and Tyson Chandler grabbed 10 for Dallas. The first half had ...

It was an incredibly slow start to the storm season but we finally got a good week of storms, from tennisball sized hail to 100km/h winds and torrential rain, phenomenal lightning and amazing structure!

Mid afternoon, Thursday December 16, 2010. South East Queensland is rocked by severe thunder storms and massive hail.
I've never seen it come down this hard before - some of the hail stones were the size of baseballs.
Brisbane Storms 16 December 2010.
I began filming this video at 2:08pm. There had just been two massive thunderclaps, and I decided I wasn't done filming yet. The "things I have to do" from the end of the last video was just checking and turning off my spaghetti on the stove, which I didn't get to eat for another half hour. Storms don't wait... :P This storm was a convergence of two super-cells that collided over Brisbane, two of six cells that eventually completely converged on each other. The resulting storm (uhh... super-super-supercell? :P ) covered a very large area, and produced hail, very strong winds, torrential rains, and flash flooding. 70000+ buildings lost power at the height of this storm, and 28000+ lightning strikes were recorded in the two hours total this storm lasted. Sydney was also struck today with severe storms, and one man's life was lost when he was struck by lightning. Please forgive the quality of this video, it does not preform well in low light, the FPS falls. Also, the question of it being a tornado. I was just reminded of the videos I had seen of the tornado that hit New York on September 16 this year. Nothing about a tornado has yet been mentioned by authorities, so it is likely I was mistaken. Not surprising, I've never been in one, after all :) However, I mention the storms a couple of years ago in November which so devastated Ashgrove, here in the Valley during that storm, winds were also very powerful, to the point it was whistling around my closed and well-sealed ...
I began filming this video at 1:55pm. I had noticed, suddenly, how dark it was, it looked like almost evening. I took a look at BOM radar, and began filming from there. The third screen was a graphic on BOM giving a storm warning. I swear, I have never seen a single storm threat so big in a warning, and come Summer (like now), I watch it pretty intensively. The door that was blown closed was my bathroom door, which I hold open with a brick. This apartment gets a good breeze through it, and a strong breeze tends to blow it closed with a normal doorstop. I have to go through my bathroom to get to my back veranda. I began filming at around 1:39pm. The day had been very hot, 31 degrees Celsius with high humidity. A *lot* of thunder, coupled with a good deal of lightning - this was just the start of what turned out to be a very ferocious storm system. In this video, the light was still good, so my mobile's camera had a good frame rate - so good, in fact, that it caught two pretty good strikes instead of just flashes. The "greenage" that I mention shows up better than I expected too (a cause for concern for me in Video 2, as you'll see). More about this storm in the other two videos. WORST STORM TO HIT PENRITH
I was lucky to capture the first 10 minutes of a massive storm that passed directly over my house earlier today. As you'll see, there was a lot of rain, thunder, lightning and large hail! It was also very loud! As soon as this vid finished, the power went off! (and stayed that was for 4 hours). Apparently 1 person near Newcastle died from a Heart Attack during the storm.
