Their compassion stirred by the tragic events in Haiti, over 250 of the UKs leading worship and gospel artists gathered to record a single and shoot a music video to raise funds for survivors of the Haiti earthquake. More than 50 musicians - including John - got together January 27 at Ocean Way Studios to sing "Come Together Now," a song to help raise money for the victims of the recent earthquake in Haiti. The song is now available for download on iTunes.com for $1.25, with all proceeds being donated to the Haitian relief effort. It was a real joy to be able to share the talent that God has given me with so many others who have been given the same ability — all wrapped in a spirit that was truly straight from the Lord," says John. "It was a great evening. In addition to lending their voices in song, John and several other artists also recorded PSAs for The American Red Cross and Samaritans Purse for use in the upcoming months. (John is standing in the upper left-hand side of the chorus - watch for a close-up shot at 2:56 minutes into the song)
