Les Wriggles Annonce concert à L'olympia.Un must see.Enjoy Joseph Oller, le fondateur du Pari Mutuel et du Moulin Rouge, avait posé ses montagnes russes en 1888 dans la cour d'un bâtiment donnant sur le 28 boulevard des Capucines. Le préfet de Paris, craignant l'incendie des montagnes russes baties en bois, demande la fermeture de l'attraction. Oller procède donc à la démolition des montagnes russes et fait édifier une salle de spectacle : l'Olympia. Inauguré le 12 avril 1893, La Goulue, danseuse de cancan, Loïe Fuller, danseuse américaine et Fregoli1, transformiste, en furent les premières vedettes. Il accueille les plus grands artistes français de toutes les époques, tels qu'Édith Piaf, Damia, Mistinguett, Marie Dubas,Fréhel, Yvonne George, Joséphine Baker, Yvonne Printemps, Dalida, Mireille Mathieu, Michelle Torr, Sylvie Vartan, et chez ces messieurs, Guy Béart, Gilbert Bécaud, Georges Brassens, Jacques Brel, Léo Ferré, Luis Mariano, les Compagnons de la chanson puis leurs cadets, Adamo, Alain Barrière, Julien Clerc, Yves Duteil, Johnny Hallyday, Michel Sardou, Alain Souchon,Veronique sanson etc. Gilbert Bécaud est le recordman de l'Olympia en venant y chanter trente trois fois 2. En plus de la musique et de la chanson, l'Olympia accueille une grande variété de spectacles, y compris des cirques, des ballets, des films3 et des opérettes.
