Saddam Hussein's cousin - Alee Hassan al-Majid, better known as Chemical Alee - has been executed by hanging in Iraq for genocide and crimes against humanity. Majid received his fourth death sentence just over a week ago, for ordering the gassing of Kurds in the Iraqi village of Halabja in 1988, killing over 5 thousand. Sirjan, Iran Dec 22, public hanging of two men in the southern Iranian city of Sirjan in Kerman province, the semi-official news agency Fars reported on Tuesday. The crowd braved tear gas and bullets fired in the air by security forces and dragged the men down from the gallows. One seemed to be still alive when his body was removed, Fars said. The men were identified as Esmaeil Fathi More..zadeh and Mohammad Esfandiarpour and had both been convicted of armed robbery. The crowd, which included many relatives of the two men, chanted slogans against the Iranian authorities and threw stones at the security forces. Security forces were reported to be moving to arrest those allegedly involved in the clashes, Fars said. The Iran Human Rights campaign group said it was investigating the incident. "Public hanging is a barbaric act that Iranian regime uses to spread fear among the people," said Iran Human Rights spokesman Mahmood Amiry-Moghaddam. "The people of Sirjan have shown that they will no longer accept medieval punishments and a medieval regime." This partisan woman and man were hanged in a public execution. This is another old clip from a movie that seems to have disappeared from YouTube so I am reposting it. Again I don't know what the movie is but I would love to know. if anyone out there knows, please tell me. (it may be written in the Russian at the start but I don't read Russian.)
This is similar to the Scorpion clip from Leopard32. It shows a woman being hanged in a prison execution. It uses the same pulley system and the multiple executioners pushing electronic buttons to end this lady's life. Unlike Leopards clip though this one seems to have gone missing from youtube so here it is again.
