In the films and original novels, Isayev operates undercover in Nazi Germany under the name of Stirlitz. Seen as the Russian answer to James Bond, Stirlitz is believed to be a favourite character of Prime Minister Vladimir Putin, who himself served as a KGB agent in the former East Germany. Since you are all going to get Pissed in a few Hours... My Collab with the amazing TheSubAutomaticBiycle I am not really a drinker. So I wanted to try to find out what the fuss was about. After about 10 pints and numerous trips to the bathroom, I know... (This Youtube experiment nearly killed me...) Anyway, the idea was to make a hard hitting vid about drink covering drink driving, domestic abuse ect ect but the music didn't fit. So you essentially have a Vid of me getting drunk and having a piss... I asked Chris (The SubAutomaticBicyle) to put the drums on this track. He added sound effects, a cool guitar riff and some vocal additions too. He played the drums live !! I like the results a lot. Hope you do too. I did pay a price for this art. It is lying in a street corner in Shepherds bush. I was going to film a lot of people getting off their heads , throwing up, but decided against it as I didn't want to get beaten up and I quite like having a camera. Attending the premiere at Manns Chinese Theatre in Hollywood, CA - the scene shows a large woman dressed in black with a hat hiding most of her face, with what can only be described as a mobile phone device - talking as she walks alone. I have studied this film for over a year now - showing it to over 100 people and at a film festival, yet no-one can give any explanation as to what she is doing. My only theory - as well as many others - is simple... a time traveler on a mobile phone. See for yourself and feel free to leave a comment on your own explanation or thoughts about it. This short film, created using almost 15000 digital still photos and no video footage, was screened with dozens of other "Happy New Year" shorts in Bordeaux, France on December 31st, 2008, as an introduction to the city's New Year's Eve countdown. The event was part the "Who Do You Are?" Arts Festival overseen by Jared Gradinger and his Berlin-based Arts company. It was produced by Zachary Quinto, Corey Moosa, and Neal Dodson through their company, Before The Door Pictures. You know how at the prom, everyone goes for uber-glitz and black-tie formal, only its done through the filter of a 17-year-old fashion sense — or rather, what a 17-year-old would think was formal black-tie fashion sense? So the end result is a really weird mix of over-the-top gaudiness that may have been expensive but looks cheap? Thats kind of the feel I get from looking at pictures from the 7th Annual Korea Film Awards. Of course there are some standouts — Han Ye-seul glammed it up with the appropriate touch of class and sexiness — but there were also a lot of beautiful women in ugly dresses that looked more off-the-rack Jessica McClintock (hey, its fake prom!) than red-carpet awards ceremony. So if were talking red-carpet wow factor, it was a decided step down from, say, last months lovely Blue Dragon Awards. As for the awards themselves, no surprises if youve been watching the accolades accumulate all year long. The Chaser was the overwhelming winner, with The Good, The Bad, The Weird taking up (a distant) second place. A few notable exceptions from the rule were Kang Ji-hwan (A Movie Is a Movie) and Gong Hyo-jin (Crush and Blush), but you can check out the full list (and, of course, the fashions!) below the jump.
