beautiful voice of Riasat Ali Qadri reciting the Hamd of Miyaan Muhammad Baksh upload by Zohaib Mansoor Sethi
This immortal song always touched my heart and soul, was originally sung by Geeta Dutt with her sensuous voice. Lata ji with her ethereal voice enhanced its charm.. I do not say that Lata ji has sung better than Geeta Ji, but in no way it is less than the original......I have compiled this video on Lata Ji's song as a very good video is already available for Geeta Ji's song. This haunting melody is composed by SD Burman and subtle poetry penned by Kaifi Azmi for Guru Dutt ji's movie Kaagaz ke Phool.

Bhuli Kamone- Haunting Memory of Your's- Poet Nazrul Islam-Singer Manna Dey & Pratima Banerjee- English Translation on Screen
This is a female Koel and there were 2 of them at another tree...You can hear the beautiful loud calls of them...and some other birds like Barbet ,Bulbul and Honeysucker... Bit shaky, sorry about it :) Asian Koel ======== The Asian Koel (Eudynamys scolopaceus) is a member of the cuckoo order of birds, the Cuculiformes. It is found in South Asia, China, and Southeast Asia. It forms a superspecies with the closely related Black-billed and Pacific Koels which are sometimes treated as subspecies. The Asian Koel is a brood parasite that lays its eggs in the nests of crows and other hosts, where the young are raised by the foster parents. They are unusual among the cuckoos in being largely frugivorous as adults. The word koel is echoic in origin and the bird is a widely used symbol in Indian poetry. It has been compared with the "nightingale" due to its melodious call. The Asian Koel is a large, long-tailed, cuckoo at 45 cm. The male of the nominate race is glossy bluish-black, with a pale green or grey bill, the iris is crimson, and it has grey legs and feet. The female of the nominate race is brownish on the crown and has rufous streaks on the head. The back, rump and wing coverts are dark brown with white and buff spots. The underparts are whitish, but is heavily striped. They are very vocal during the breeding season (March to August in South Asia), with a range of different calls. The familiar song of the male is a repeated koo-Ooo. The female makes a shrill kik-kik-kik ...

This unmatchable song was written by Indeevar Ji and composed by TIMIR BARAN, and SK PAL for movie Baadbaan. May god bless their souls for giving us such priceless gem.

An Urdu Poem written by Hadhrat Musleh Maud (ra) with the voice of Mujahid Javed.
It is unbelievable that a composition of this calibre could be created in 40s. Only a person- Kamal Dasgupta could do it. It is a complete story of a lover who requests the first-rain-clouds to go the village of his beloved and deliver the message. During the journey, the clouds face various attractions and hurdles. Kamal Dasgupta ji though his sheer genius, has described the story in his marvelous composition. I took me months to creat and mach the great composition and singing of Jagmohan ji. Jagmohan ji had been out of attention for years, by creating a video on his song, I am trying to bring this great singer into limelight and revive his greatness. Jagmohan - a voice that kept listeners glued to the radio for hours together, and his songs made super hits in the past. I still remember listening to Jagmohan in the dead of the night on Radio Ceylon. His voice would come shimmering like waves of ocean in that stillness of night. His unique style of singing brought him the title of 'Sursagar' in 1945. Before him, only Pankaj Mullick was honored with this title. Tagore songs and lyrics of Nazrul Islam sung by Jagmohan made his name a household word in Bengal. He was equally famous for his songs in Hindi, Gujrati and Marathi. In a career over spanning over 40 years, he has recorded over 400 songs. His romantic and love songs that were distinct by marvelous combination of poetic lyric and melodious tunes. Besides, songs of patriotic zeal, he also excelled in singing romantic ...

This song of KL Saigal is a soul stirring and memorable classic of the legendary I have ever heard. KL Saigal wrote and composed this song. I have tried to put this very difficult poetry into the video. I do not know how successful I am. I feel "Sakhi" is the inner-self of a woman who is talking to herself and leave everything in search of her "Raaje piya" -the God. I have redone the video on HEMA MALINI . The lyrics are...... Main baithi thi phulwari mein, Ik Sakhi aa gayi aur boli, Kya soch hai tum ko bolo to; Hun behan tumhari muhn boli. Kuch keh na saki.. kuch keh na saki; munh takat rahi; nainon se chali asuvan dori; chalate chalate wohi bol gayi: Sakhi kaun des Raaje Piya ra, Sakhi kaun des Raaje Piya ra , Kuch na samajhi, kya kahe sakhi hi, Bin jaane dhoondan chal nikali, jungle upvan tribhuvan dhoondha; Par kahin na uski ther mili, aakhir thak kar, main baith gayi Aakhir thak kar main baith gayi Aur lagi poochne kaho koi , Sundar chhabi jiski kehte hain , Woh kaun des Raaje Piya ra Woh kaun des Raaje Piya ra, Tab mann ne meethi baat kahi Kyun toone itni baatt bahi Ghar baithe pee paa sakti thi main vidhi bataun wo kya thi Bahar ke naina muund sakhi aur nain hriday ke khol sakhi Ab apne muhn se bol sakhi Sakhi kaun des Raaje Piya ra Sakhi kaun des Raaje Piya ra,

These six songs were composed in the summer of 2008. Percy Bysshe Shelley (1792--1822) wrote these poems between 1814 and his unexpected death, when he drowned at sea. He is known for having been expelled from Oxford for distributing a pamphlet entitled "The Necessity of Atheism." He was married twice, leaving his first wife shortly after writing "Away!," soon thereafter meeting Mary Shelley (of Frankenstein fame), daughter of William Godwin, a literary figure whom Shelley idolized. Two of their three children died in 1818 and 1819. His texts have been criticized for their seemingly abstract surface aesthetic, as well as being praised "splendidly nebulous." With these six songs I have aimed to capture the essence of his writing and depict the masterfully-crafted romantic imagery contained in these poems. I hope that in doing so I manage to enhance their "splendidly nebulous" nature through my music. II. The Indian Serenade (1819) - Percy Bysshe Shelley I arise from dreams of thee In the first sweet sleep of night, When the winds are breathing low, And the stars are shining bright: I arise from dreams of thee, And a spirit in my feet Hath led me—who knows how! To thy chamber window, Sweet! The wandering airs they faint On the dark, the silent stream— And the champak odors fail Like sweet thoughts in a dream; The nightingale's complaint, It dies upon her heart; — As I must on thine O belovèd as thou art! O lift me from the grass! I die! I faint! I fail! Let thy love in ...
