I've just recently gone "full-time" presenting as female, and I'm just discussing some of the challenges I've encountered thus far (and how I'm working on facing them).
this video was taken August 25th, 2011 -- the very first day with Estrogen running through my Veins. After seeing the Doctor on July 26th, he wanted me to get my blood pressure down before starting me on Estrogen. 30 days later and much lower blood pressure he finally prescribed me estradiol and provera to go with my spiro today marks my un-founded birthday :)

Here I discuss the efffects that 3 months of doctor supervised HRT had on me, both physically and psychologically.
After a long night of contemplation of self and trangender issues, I got out of bed and made this video. I talk about the psychological side of HRT and how that is effecting my perception of the world.
I made this slide show with what little amount of pictures I could find. The problem was that when I was raped the second time, the guy stole my phone. This video is missing content. Such as my very first rape. Along with a lot of stuff in between that youth shelter and getting kicked out. I just simply do not have any pictures so I cannot talk about it, or you would not be viewing a slideshow but reading a story. :) I will see if I can write up my experience.

Yup, Im Nervous, Unprepared and Wired-COFFEE (12 cups to be exact) Anywho, the dosage has doubled to 4mg Estradiol and 50mg Spironolactone. Health is in great condition blood results came back normal........I been excercizing, eating veggies, wheat/ white bread,etc. Yes.....I quit smoking.....failed to mention (1 pack every 2 months). I also weighed 187lbs as a guy and now weigh 151lbs.....YAAAAAAaaaa as a girl, because I fear being wide body! So I am being honest with yall, and myself-nothing to hide. And yes, I have a video in private that shows a future change in my dysphoria in the near future-Preminition- I might post it!!!!!! Bye!

Just listing a list of expectations you might want to have before you start your transition or your hormone replacement therapy. These 'expectations' are based on my personal experience and from what i have heard/learned from other veteran ts out there. So not everything here will necessarily apply to you.
