I'm late with this one, I know. It's probably also a little weird that I'm wearing a Chicago Bulls hat when doing a Knicks vid...but I digress. But the news is still the same...Tracy McGrady has been traded to the New York Knicks as part of a 3 team trade with the Houston Rockets as well as the Sacramento Kings. T-Mac has definitely had a checkered career. Overall his stats are beyond stellar. Maybe not recently, but T-Mac was among the best of the best in his heyday with Orlando and his first 2 years with the Houston Rockets. Lately it hasn't been the same. In 2002-03 with Orlando, he was at 32.1 PPG. Now he's at 15.6 PPG and only 4.4 RPG even though his highest year for rebounds was 01-02 (7.9) His career has also seen more of the hospital than it has of the gym--back injuries, knee injuries, microfracture surgery..the beat has gone on...literally. I did hear Johnny (TalkNewYorkSports) put out his video about T-Mac and looked at it from an optimistic point of view--one that I can see happening. He compared it to Drew Brees. Brees was left for dead in San Diego as they were transitioning to Philip Rivers. Brees heals, signs with New Orleans and within a few years gets to the playoffs and wins the Super Bowl. The Knicks weren't busy just trying to get McGrady (who wasn't on the Rockets active roster at the time) from Houston--they also traded Nate Robinson to the Celtics for Eddie House (a 3 point machine) and a couple of other bench players. William "Will" James Conroy (born December 8, 1982 in Seattle, Washington) is an American professional basketball player. He played briefly in the NBA. Conroy attended and played high school basketball at Garfield High School in Seattle and he played college basketball at the University of Washington. Conroy is the all-time assists leader in Washington Huskies history, with 515. Conroy played in the 2006-07 NBA preseason with the Charlotte Bobcats, but he was cut before the NBA regular season started. He then signed with the Tulsa 66ers of the NBA D-League. On January 30, 2007, Conroy was signed to a ten-day contract by the Memphis Grizzlies after they had opened up a roster spot by waiving guard Eddie Jones. After his contract ended, Conroy returned to the 66ers. On February 28, 2007, Conroy was signed to another ten-day contract by the Los Angeles Clippers, following point guard Shaun Livingston's season-ending knee injury. I have put players who were born near certain NBA cities, on the team rosters of those cities, example the BULLs have players who were born in Chicago, New York has players born in New York, as does Los Angeles, Cleveland, Charlotte, etc. I hope that some of you will try these roster changes. I think it will be a diffrent, in a good way, gaming challenge.

This is anattempt to help you create local rosters, on NBA Live 09/10 game system, it should translate to all platforms, for rescent NBA Live 09-10 versions. No need to sort thru all the rosters yourself I have already done, and you are viewing the results on this youtube video. Go to default roster, in other words a unsave roster. The players you are viewing in this segment are from the default team rosters, of NBA Live 09. In a sudden rush at the end of a frenzied week, the Toronto Raptors have remade their roster and signed free-agent forward Hedo Turkoglu, The Globe and Mail has confirmed. The versatile Orlando Magic forward appeared poised to sign with the Portland Trail Blazers until a late bid by the Raptors -- in excess of $50-million over five seasons for the 30 year-old -- caused the change of heart, even as Turkoglu was in Portland visiting with the Trail Blazers. Turkoglu had agreed on a five-year, $50-million (all currency US) deal with the Blazers, but will sign with the Raptors for more than $10-million a season. Signing Turkoglu means the Raptors will have to renounce their rights to their existing free agents Shawn Marion, Carlos Delfino and Anthony Parker to create the cap space for Turkoglu. Turkoglus agent, Lon Babby, didnt immediately return calls from The Globe and Mail and the Raptors would not comment.
