In California on Spring Break. A city. A trip. A love affair. The day my life was changed forever. And all on camera! I could not resist. I LEFT MY HEART IN SAN FRANCISCO was sung by Tony Bennett. The loveliness of Paris Seems somehow sadly gay The glory that was Rome Is of another day I've been terribly alone And forgotten in Manhattan I'm going home to my city by the bay. I left my heart in San Francisco High on a hill, it calls to me. To be where little cable cars Climb halfway to the stars! The morning fog may chill the air I don't care! My love waits there in San Francisco Above the blue and windy sea When I come home to you, San Francisco, Your golden sun will shine for me! [Part 1: The death of St. Jimmy] My heart is beating from me I am standing all alone Please call me only if you are coming home Waste another year flies by Waste a night or two You taught me how to live In the streets of shame Where you've lost your dreams in the rain There's no signs of hope The stems and seeds of the last of the dope There's a glow of light The St. Jimmy is the spark in the night Bearing gifts and trust The fixture in the city of lust What the hell's your name? What's your pleasure and whats your pain? Do you dream to much? Do you think what you need is a crutch? In the crowd of pain. St. Jimmy comes without any shame He says we're fucked up But we're not the same And mom and dad are the ones you can blame Jimmy died today He blew his brains out into the bay In the state of mind it's my own private suicide [Part 2: East 12th St.] Well nobody cares Well nobody cares Does anyone care if nobody cares? [x2] Jesus filling out paperwork now At the facility on east 12th st. He's not listening to a word now He's in his own world And he's daydreaming He'd rather be doing something else now, Like cigarettes and coffee with the underbelly, His life's on the line with anxiety now, And she had enough, And he had plenty Somebody get me out of here Anybody get me out of here Somebody get me out of here Get me the fuck right out of here So far away I don't want to stay Get me out of here right now I just wanna be free Is there a possibility? Surprisingly, this song is not even close to being his biggest chart success. He had a half-dozen other Top 20 hits that were initially more popular. The loveliness of Paris seems somehow sadly gay The glory that was Rome is of another day I've been terribly alone and forgotten in Manhattan I'm going home to my city by the Bay I left my heart in San Francisco High on a hill, it calls to me To be where little cable cars climb halfway to the stars The morning fog may chill the air, I don't care My love waits there in San Francisco Above the blue and windy sea When I come home to you, San Francisco Your golden sun will shine for me.
I opened my eyes last night and saw you in the low light Walking down by the bay, on the shore, Staring up at the planes that arent there anymore I was feeling the night grow old and you were looking so cold Like an introvert, I drew my over shirt around my arms and began to shiver violently Before you happened to look and see the tunnels all around me Running into the dark underground All the subways around create a great sound To my motion fatigue: farewell With your ear to a seashell You can hear the waves in underwater caves As if you actually were inside a saltwater room Chorus: Girl: (Time together is just never quite enough) Boy: When you and I are alone, Ive never felt so at home Girl: (What will it take to make or break this hint of love?) Both: only time Can you believe that the crew has gone and wouldnt let me sign on? All my islands have sunk in the deep, And I can hardly relax or even oversleep But i feel warm with your hand in mine, when we walk along the shoreline I guess Ill never know why sparrows love the snow Well turn off all of the lights and set this ballroom aglow (So tell me darlaing do you wish we'd fall in love) (All the time) Chorus: Girl: (Time together is just never quite enough) Boy: When you and I are alone, Ive never felt so at home Girl: (What will it take to make or break this hint of love?) We need time, Both: only time Girl: (When were apart whatever are you thinking of?) Boy: If this is what I call home, why does it feel so alone? Girl ...

Week 1 NFL Investment Ideas Note: Like the stock market or playing blackjack, you need to win at least 52.3% from books with -110 lines to break even. Any worse and you will be a loser. Any better then you will be a successful investor (pending inflation). I will not be making any point spread plays for at least the first few weeks of the season. The end of the season has always been historically better as there is more data to choose from. One may say that the books have that info also, which is true. However you can also get a better read for what the books are trying to do later on also. Finding out what the books are trying to do is like trying to figure out what the power that be in the market are trying to do when the fix the stock market to the direction they desire. Therefore, quick look at all games (all plays are opinion outside of top 3): Tennessee Titans @ Pittsburgh Steelers -6.5 -TENN with the points. This is a little high, and even though I expect Tennessee to not do as good, I expect the same with PITT. Granted falling from the best means you are still a great team and I think that could hold true. Miami Dolphins @ Atlanta Falcons -4.5 MIA - Too many points. Both teams are on the rise to do a lot better Dallas Cowboys @ Tampa Bay Buccaneers +5.5 TB - TB was great at home last year and im a sucker for home underdogs of three or greater. Dallas are not what they were. Watch Roy Williams New Orleans Saints @ Detroit Lions +13.5 -DET (SILVER) It is clear that ...

Joanna Newsom - Emily Taken from the album "Ys" released in 2006 by Drag City records The meadowlark and the chim-choo-ree and the sparrow Set to the sky in a flying spree, for the sport over the pharaoh A little while later the Pharisees dragged comb through the meadow Do you remember what they called up to you and me, in our window? There is a rusty light on the pines tonight Sun pouring wine, lord, or marrow Down into the bones of the birches And the spires of the churches Jutting out from the shadows The yoke, and the axe, and the old smokestacks and the bale and the barrow And everything sloped like it was dragged from a rope In the mouth of the south below We've seen those mountains kneeling, felten and grey We thought our very hearts would up and melt away From that snow in the nighttime Just going And going And the stirring of wind chimes In the morning In the morning Helps me find my way back in From the place where I have been And, Emily - I saw you last night by the river I dreamed you were skipping little stones across the surface of the water Frowning at the angle where they were lost, and slipped under forever In a mud-cloud, mica-spangled, like the sky'd been breathing on a mirror Anyhow - I sat by your side, by the water You taught me the names of the stars overhead that I wrote down in my ledger Thoough all I knew of the rote universe were those Pleiades loosed in December I promised you I'd set them to verse so I'd always remember That the meteorite is a ...

Although not the best, but certainly good, rendition of the famous Frank Sinatra/Tony Bennett song, I Left My Heart in San Francisco. I DO NOT OWN THIS SONG AND CLAIM NO COPYWRITES TO IT. The loveliness of Paris Seems someshow sadly gay. The glory that was Rome Is of another day. I've been terribly alone And forgotten in Manhattan I'm going home To my city by the bay. I left my heart In San Francisco High on the hill It calls to me. To be where little cables cars Climb halfway to the stars ...
can still come together and do things like this is just, inspiring. With all the downtown reconstruction, San Jose Police force running shit like its nobodys business, it seems San Jose is becoming what city officials want it to be, and catering to those who can afford that lifestyle. Who knew people out there still enjoyed the little things, like a bike ride. People of all ages, yet all shared something in common. We were the little people, the subculture that you pass by Hydration everyday ...

"Teacher Strike Blues" written and sung by Andrew Kong Knight, of the Angry Tired Teachers. (Angry Tired Teachers are a rock band made up of teachers from the San Francisco Bay Area.) Knight wrote the song during the midst of the recent Hayward Unified School District teachers strike. This original song is featured on the Angry Tired Teachers album "Stickin' it to the Man. This video shows clips from the recent Hayward Unified School District teachers strike, featuring the Angry Tired Teachers on their "Stickin' it to the Man Strike Tour" of Hayward Schools. The band "toured" various schools and rallies across the city of Hayward on the back of a flat bed truck. This up-tempo protest rocker "Teacher Strike Blues" became a crowd favorite with it's infectious chorus. The teacher strikers and protesters joined in on vocal shouts of, "Strike, Strike!" and "Fight, Fight!" during the performances of this song. The Hayward Schools strike also featured a speech by Dolores Huerta, co-founder and First Vice President Emeritus of the United Farm Workers of America, AFL-CIO (UFW).
