John Wayne - an American hero, a Hollywood legend. . . He was a man of few words, but when he spoke he meant what he said. "You need me as much as I need you Crow - give that some thought. BANG!!!" In a career spanning half a century, John Wayne made more movies than any other Hollywood star - and captured the imagination of moviegoers as no one else has ever done. "I'll take particular delight in seeing you hang!" Like a monument carved in granite, he stood as a symbol of American virtue, strength, and courage. But throughout a life of passion, determination, and triumph his greatest role was always that of John Wayne, American.
This commercial always has a place in my heart.

This is just a homemade video of mine of Robert Downey Jr., recently known as Tony Stark as the star in Iron Man disses The Dark Knight in a new harsh interview with Moviehole.net Special thanks to Moviehole.net =] As successful as Downey has been in Hollywood, his career has had its share of ups and downs, often marred by his once publicized drug use. But that was then, this is now, and thanks to a certain comic book hero earlier this summer, Downey's career is well and truly back in track. So much so, that he has been able to poke fun at his stunning career resurgence while promoting "Tropic Thunder". But looking back on" Iron Man", Downey says he had a feeling it would be successful. "I don't often say that I know how things are going to go, but I did know that 'Iron Man' was going to come out and be received and have the kind of success it did. So it wasn't surprising, but gratifying because it would have been very disappointing if my feeling and my intuition about it hadn't been met by reality - as is often the case." The actor downplays what the film's success has done for his career at this particular juncture. "I think it's like anything. At a certain point, Favreau and I were invited to a dinner at a Chinese restaurant in Beverly Hills and I felt like they opened the books and we were made guys. There was a lot of like power players there and studio people and that we were sitting, and we left and I felt like we, 'I feel like we were just - like mafia. They just ...

As he reconnects with his former crime-fighting legion - a ragtag group of retired superheroes, only one of whom has true powers - Rorschach glimpses a wide-ranging and disturbing conspiracy with links to their shared past and catastrophic consequences for the future. Their mission is to watch over humanity...but who is watching the watchmen? from IMDB; In a gritty and alternate 1985 the glory days of costumed vigilantes have been brought to a close by a government crackdown, but after one of the masked veterans is brutally murdered an investigation into the killer is initiated. The reunited heroes set out to prevent their own destruction, but in doing so discover a deeper and far more diabolical plot. Written by evan murphy "Watchmen" is set in an ...

I have a knack for meeting celebrities, even though I have never been to Hollywood or New York. I interviewed George Carlin the year before and Crystal Gayle earlier that year, I was asked to see if I could get an interview with Gallagher, who was performing at the Paramount Arts Center (I think they invited him because they were about to do a major remodel). His performance was packed. I honestly had never seen so many people in the Paramount. Plus there was a six foot plus tall guy walking around after the show covered in Gallagher's goo stinking and dripping everywhere. While I have seen many of his video performances and enjoy his comedy, he wasn't exactly a comedy hero of mine, but I went along anyway. Once again, I did not operate the camera, but I did insist on a tripod and mics so at least it is a steady shot and you can hear him clearly. The video he gave em was a copy of his 1994 show "We Need a Hero." I don't think any of his shows are available on DVD, but if they are, I think that is his best. All in all he seemed like a nice guy, but after we packed up our gear and went out to our cars, we heard him screaming at his crew and throwing things around in the back of his moving van. The next morning, I ran into a DJ friend of mine and he told me he was doing a remote at a restaurant and Gallagher came in and was raising hell with the waiter because he didn't like the taste of the coffee that was served to him.

Martin Brody is the new police chief of Amity, an island resort town somewhere in New England aka (Massachusetts). He has a wife named Ellen, and two sons named Michael and Sean. On a Summer morning, Brody is called to the beach, where the mangled body of Summer vacationer Chrissie Watkins has washed ashore. The medical examiner tells Brody that it could have been a shark that killed Watkins. Mayor Larry Vaughn, who is desperate to not lose the money that will be brought in by 4th of July tourists, wants Brody to say Watkins's death was caused by a motorboat propeller instead of a shark, because the thought of a shark in Amity's waters would drive tourists away from Amity. It looks like Vaughn is a mayor who puts money ahead of people's lives. Shark expert Matt Hooper believes Watkins was killed by a shark. Hooper is proven right a few days later, when Alex Kintner is killed by the shark that killed Watkins. Looking for the quickest solution, Vaughn tells all of the local fishermen to let him know if they see the shark. A shark hunter named Quint offers to find the shark and kill it but for a price $10000, but Vaughn thinks Quint's price of $10000 is too high. When a tiger shark is killed and hauled in by a couple of boaters, Vaughn hastily says that the shark crisis is over, but Hooper says the shark that's been killing people a huge great white shark is still in Amity's waters, but Vaughn leaves the beaches opened because all he cares about is the 4th of July tourist ...
