Korn - Pop A Pill (Cover). If you like it, rate it and leave me your comment. Peace
here's the bass part being covered by me :] i usually listen and play to much hardercore metal than this but the breakdown at the end is so delicious. FAQs & Crap: bass: Ibanez SR305 Five Strang tuning: CGCF (only need C & G for this song so i used the bottom strings so they wouldn't be super floppy) equipment: SansAmp Bass Driver DI pedal into a 10watt Peavey practice amp no, i don't use a pick, i prefer using my fingers (that's what she said lolol) but to get the pick sound i wear finger picks backwards :] *disclaimer: I think palm mutes are sick in metal. therefor i'm probably considered a palm mute whore... but i don't care. it sounds so heavy :]*

This was an old cover I made... it was like 5 Months ago, now I've really improved xD Anyway, the audio quality is not perfect, since I recorded using a normal camera, without an audio card. Actually the original bassline is very boring, so I added my personal touch here and there, even though now I could do really better... xD As soon as I get an audio card, I'll record something better, but I felt like putting this on Youtube anyway, since is at least decent... This is also a tribute to Paul Gray, Slipknot bass player, who tragically died at the age of 38 a couple of days ago... Rest In Peace... [ I used an Ibanez SR305, five strings. In this video I used D'addario XL Nickel Wound, now i switched to Dr Hi Beams Stainless Steel. The tuning is standard, BEADG, which fits with Paul's tuning, BEAD on a four string bass (he also used BF#BE very often in the previous albums) ]

Testando meu Ibanez SR 305 Just testing the bass.
Hey whats up guys,,,so i just got a bass and ive had it for like a week, but i played bass 2 years ago so it wasnt that hard to pick it up again. my first bass was a squier hehe but now i have an ibanez sr305 5 string bass oh yeah!! hhe last part is prumus's (my name is mud)---awesome song!
This is my cover of Given Up on bass without a backing track (ie without the song in the background). Recorded for a YouTube cover project on my website www.lpassociation.com Note Before people comment on the tuning/tone of the bass, I am well aware that online tabs to this song list it as being in Drop D. I am playing this in a slightly lower tuning (Drop D 1/2 Step Down) as I wasn't satisfied with the way it sounded when I recorded it the first time (sounded too high in comparison to the actual bass instrumental) and therefore I have tuned it down to give it a grittier sound and to replicate the string vibrations in the original recording. I am also playing this with my fingers and not a pick. This is out of choice, and I am aware that this is one of the very few songs that Dave plays a pick on. I however, prefer the way it sounds without a pick. With that out of the way: Comment away. Constructive criticism is welcome...dick-ish comments are not =). Bass is a discontinued version of the Ibanez SR-305.

Just got the Microsoft Lifecam Cinema, so this is my first time using it. I know the high pitched sound is annoying, I'll have to find a way around it eventually. I'm not great at bass, but I still like playing what I can. =) Here's my attempt at Freeze Time by 311 played on an Ibanez SR305 through an Ampeg BA-115.

So, I found a few of my resolutions from last year...one of them being to learn this song on bass, so I figured better late then never and looked up some tabs earlier today and recorded this, good opportunity to show off my new bass too. It's an Ibanez SR305 tuned to GBGCF (low to high...lol) played on a pos 10 watt Ibanez practice amp. I fell off beat pretty bad during the bridge but other than that it wasn't a bad take. And my apologies to PunkPanda and Tempest...there's a couple of parts in Death Blooms I just can't do yet...so that cover will have to wait...
A cover of Jaco Pastorius's rendition of Donna Lee. It's only the beginning part and it's a bit sloppier than when I initially learned it. Nonetheless I think I did alright. Sorry for the sound quality not being too great, I tried a new method of recording myself. It was easier and quicker but....the quality was lower.
Heres another Cover from us. I was messing with my WAHH in the beggining ;D. I messed up a little on that main riff liek the intro and so on xD Im using an Ibanez RG1570 hes using an Ibanez SR305. Im also using a Podx3 live through a Line 6 III. Comment and Rate & subscribe!
Heres another i did quick trying to get my loser brother to play bass again. But i always say you cant spell Bass without ASS. I hate it! But he says guitar is annoying squealy shit. What do you think? Equipment: Ibanez RG 1570 and a Pod x3 for me. Ibanez Sr305 and a shit amp for him. Thanks subscribe pleassee!

me covering MJ's Beat it , . RIP MJ ! my gear : Ibanez Sr305 , zoom 607 and Acoustic B100 . . . .
A cover of Constant Motion by Dream Theater. I don't know this song perfectly, but while I was recording videos I decided I wanted to do a Dream Theater song. Dream Theater songs aren't easy to perfect. Constructive criticism is welcome.
Another cover of Intro Duction by Marcus Miller. Posted this one because I wasn't as happy with my first one (though I've left that up as well). This is a slightly better version, and played on my Ibanez SR305 instead of the GSR200.
rola de Metallica...
so i got into the groundation groove again and decided to up a new clip. i'm using an Ibanez SR305 i bought a couple of weeks ago, plays like a dream :D anyhow, enjoy. please rate and comment ;)
