A comment by Prof. Sripad Motiram, while I was doing coursework for my short-lived effort at earning a Ph.D., resulted in an improptu essay that I subsequently posted on my blog. Much later, I felt that there was something useful that had occured to me that day. I have therefore now slightly abridged that essay and have produced an experimental textmovie out of it.
