We have a tradition to go the balloon festival in Provo, UT as a way to celebrate the 4th of July. We usually are there by 6am so that we can watch the balloons all fill up and than take off. It is great fun. It is a free event.

This was taken after 6pm (possibly 7pm) at St Jean Sur Richelieu Quebec during their Hot Air Balloon festival takeoff Sunday Aug 22nd 2004. The UFO I Caught on film only appears on 1 frame of movie meaning 1/15th of a second. If you go frame by frame in the beginning you do see a dot appear, hard to make out right around the rope line of the hot air balloon near the right on 1 frame. Then you see this image on 1 frame near the left. If you watch the video and stare at the left you can see it without having to go frame by frame. It`sa 15 frame per second digital camera - CANON A80 with video capabilities. Only noticed after viewing it for the 5th time directly on the camera screen frame by frame after seeing what to me appeared to be a flash.
