What happens if you take Inspector Gadget and totally remove him from his own cartoon? Well, since the cartoon was half Gadget's comic antics and half his niece solving the crime with some help from her pet dog, basically you end up with just the mystery/adventure aspect. Which is why I watched the cartoon in the first place when I was little. I never found Gadget himself funny or all that entertaining.

Part 1
Gadget learns that he has walked right into another assasination attempt and one of the world's greatest heists. The Great Wambini plans to steal two vaults of treasure before a live audience and as his finalle he plans to make Gadget disappear, permanately.
Dr. Claw has teamed up with Japanese mastermind Iji-Waruda-san and together the two plan to conquer the world. Naturally Gadget is sent in to save the day however danger lurks behind every corner with Waruda's samurai minions targeting him for assasination. Can Penny and her new friend Atsuko save the day and protect Gadget from obilteration?
