video uploaded from my Samsung Instinct mobile phone, showing that the new Instinct phone from Sprint is not compatible with you tube when uploading a video made with the Instinct phone. After spending almost 3 weeks trying to figure out what the problem with the Instinct video is, I finally got through to the Level 3 technical support at Samsung. The agent COULD NOT GET AN INSTINCT TO UPLOAD A VIDEO TO YOU TUBE WITH A USABLE SOUNDTRACK. After spending hours on the phone with Samsung over the past few days, it has become clear that Instinct owners who want to upload videos to You Tube with their phones are going to have to accept the fact that the sound will be corrupt UNTIL ENOUGH PEOPLE COMPLAIN ABOUT THE PROBLEM DIRECTLY TO THEM. To do that, please call them and insist on speaking to a Level 3 technical support agent. Naturally they will make you wait and jump through several hoops to get you there but if you care about uploading videos to You Tube, this will probably be the only way to get the problem resolved. The number for Samsung Support is: 888-987-4357 As of this afternoon, I was the only person on file who persisted in reaching Level 3 support and reporting the sound problem...unbelievable, considering how many Instincts are being sold and how popular You Tube uploading is. But it's going to take a lot of our voices to make a difference, so, your help is requested and needed, right now. It's hard to imagine that a phone as nice as the Instinct will have to go back to the Sprint Store over such an obvious oversight as this by Samsung and/or You Tube and/or Sprint...but I have to have a cell phone that is compatible with you tube, period. To top it off, Sprint is paying You Tube members to produce videos on/about the Instinct??? How ironic. I don't think they'll pay for any of my You Tube videos on this subject!
