This video was made while Sea Shepherd was in the Southern Ocean illegally harassing the Japanese mariners. The cowards have accelerated their attack upon the Japanese mariners by launching deadly projectiles. The projectiles themselves may be harmless. However once launched as a projectile with propulsion if it comes into contact with a human, can be deadly or cause serious injury. Sea Shepherd called off their illegal harassment early this season as they did the last whaling season. They have slithered to sanctuary in Hobart, Tasmania, Australia. While Sea Shepherd is basking in Hobart, the Japanese continue their whaling. How many whales is Sea Shepherd saving while in dock in Hobart? Another failed anti whaling season. Sea Shepherd Update: Bob Barker Continues Pursuit of Japanese Whaling Fleet After 18 days of chasing and preventing the illegal Japanese whaling fleet from killing any whales, the Sea Shepherd ship Steve Irwin broke off to return to Hobart, Tasmania. They are scheduled to arrive on March 6th. We have reached our limit on fuel reserves, said Captain Paul Watson, We have no choice but to return. We have just enough fuel to get home. With the Steve Irwin dropping out of the chase, the Japanese whaling fleet still has a problem. The Sea Shepherd ship Bob Barker has sufficient fuel to continue chasing the whaling fleet for most of the remaining days in the season. The Bob Barker is presently pursuing the Nisshin Maru through ice packs heading into the Cooperation Sea. Sea Shepherd is assuming that the three harpoon vessels of the fleet are waiting to the South for the factory ship to rejoin them. Each day we prevent the killing of a whale is a victory for us, said Captain Chuck Swift of the Bob Barker, My crew are committed to staying down here as long as possible to block their illegal whaling operations. They dont have much time left and with that time left, they will see the Bob Barker on their tail defending the whales. The Institute for Cetacean Research in Japan is reporting that Togo has stripped the Bob Barker of the Togo flag. If it is true, then it is interesting that Japan has been informed but Sea Shepherd has not. That indicates that Japan put pressure on Togo to ...

A child of Sea Shepherd under the cover of night illegally boarded the Japanese whaling vessel Shonan Maru No.2, after maliciously cutting a net on the ship. The child's stated purpose was to hand the Captain of the Shonan Maru No.2 a bill for the Ady Gil. The Ady Gil was the boat Sea Shepherd purposely rammed into the Shonan Maru No.2. The Ady Gil as well as the law-breaking illegally boarding child are from New Zealand. Under New Zealand law citizen arrest are legal. He had planned to enforce New Zealand law within Australian territorial waters. Remember Sea Shepherd claims the Japanese mariners whale hunt in Australian waters, giving Sea Shepherd a made up moral authority to harass the Japanese mariners. By their own claims they then must be behaving imperialistic to be enforcing one nations laws in another nation's territory. As of this posting it was decided to bring the Sea Shepherd child to Japan for questioning and perhaps face legal charges for his illegal activities. Anti-whaling activists have described how Japanese whaling ships circled their protest vessel like sharks before ramming it off Antarctica. Sea Shepherd founder, Captain Paul Watson, said the Japanese harpoon ship rammed the conservationists' ship the Bob Barker and tore a 90cm gash in the hull above the water line. The incident happened about 300 kilometres off Cape Darnley, in the Australian Antarctic Territory, about 3pm (AEDT) on Saturday.
A second Sea Shepherd anti whaling ship has collided with a Japanese whaling ship in the Southern Ocean. Video released by the Institute of Cetacean Research appears to show the Steve Irwin collide with the Japanese whaling vessel, Yushin Maru 3. The collision with the Japanese vessel is the second to occur in the Southern Ocean in 24 hours.
The garbage scow Bob Barker belonging to Sea Shepherd (or "She" Shepherd?) rammed the Japanese Antarctic whale research ship Yushin Maru No.3. As of this posting no video from the Japanese is available. However viewing She Shepherd's video: www.youtube.com It is clear the two ships were sailing towards one another, when the Yushin Maru No.3 turned to the right, however not soon or fast enough to avoid the ramming by Sea Shepherd's Bob Barker. She Shepherd boast about the ships they have rammed in the past by posting on the side of their rust buckets the flags and names of their victim ships. One such victim they boast about ramming in the past was the "Yushin Maru No.3." The same ship they now claim rammed them. So if the Yushin Maru No.3 did ram them, how come the girly-men are whining about it when they did the same to that ship? During the recent incident with the sunken Ady Gil the Bob Barker was sailing under the Norwegian flag when it is registered in New Zealand. The Norwegain Foreign Minister sent Sea Shepherd a letter admonishing them for that. During this recent incident the Bob Barker garbage scow still have the Norwegian flag hoisted on their flag pole. Footage taken from the Sea Shepherd vessel Bob Barker, which was engaged in blocking the slipway to the whale processing ship Nisshin Maru. Several Japanese harpoon vessels apparently tried to intimidate it before the Yushin Maru No. 3 decided to take more aggressive action to force it to change course. They failed, although they did cause damage. Source: www.seashepherd.org I will be seeing if the Japanese Institute of Cetacean Research has released their own footage of the incident. UPDATE: As of 2/7/2010, the ICR has not released any video of the clash, merely photos and-of course-claims that THEY were the ones who were rammed. Interestingly enough, though, they did not release a video of this incident, suggesting perhaps that they were, in fact, the ones guilty of the collision.
The Institute of Cetacean Research (ICR), offer animation. --- MEDIA RELEASE 8 January 2010 New Zealand watercraft left drifting in Antarctic The antiwhaling group Sea Shepherd Conservation Society has apparently abandoned reported efforts to salvage or tow to port the disabled New Zealand watercraft Ady Gil. Japans research vessels monitoring the area have confirmed that an oily substance thought to be fuel is leaking from the Ady Gil and continues to spread over the sea surface, raising concerns that Sea Shepherd is willfully polluting the Antarctic environment. The Shonan Maru No. 2 reported that the other antiwhaling ship which had been harassing the Japanese vessel with the New Zealand watercraft, the Bob Barker, initially seemed to be making efforts to tow the Ady Gil. However, the Bob Barker has left the scene abandoning the drifting Ady Gil by the early morning of December 8. In addition, the Shonan Maru No. 2 retrieved today from the sea part of the severed Ady Gil hull as well as various drifting objects including several bowgun arrows. Bowgun arrows are weapons with the ability to produce casualties if used against a person or persons. The Sea Shepherd activists have been escalating the viciousness of their sabotage including hurling projectiles containing hazardous butyric acid and firing line-launch rockets against Japans research vessels. However, their carrying and possession onboard of a lethal-force weapon makes one ponder whether they would hesitate or ...
View from the deck of the Sea Shepherd vessel Ady Gil just prior to getting rammed by Japanese whaling ship Shonan Maru No. 2, operated by The Institute of Cetacean Research (ICR), on January 6, 2010. The video ends seconds before the boat is hit, as the cameraman scrambles for safety. As a result of this hit, the Ady Gil sustained heavy damage. All of the six Ady Gil crew members were rescued by the Sea Shepherd's new vessel, the Bob Barker. One crew member sustained broken ribs in this collision. An attempt was made to tow the Ady Gil to port, but the lines kept snapping as she took on water, and she finally sunk in the Southern Ocean the day after this incident.
This is footage taken from the Ady Gil, covering the three minutes prior to its catastrophic ramming by the Shonan Maru No. 2. This clearly shows that the Ady Gil is completely motionless in the water, and the Japanese Whaling vessel Shonan Maru approach from a distance. Whaling Bombshell: Ady Gil Armed With Deadly Arrows; Sea Shepherd 'Willfully Polluting' Antarctic - TOKYO, Japan: Japanese whalers have accused the Sea Shepherd Conservation Society of carrying weapons on the Ady Gil, rejecting claims by the protesters that their state-of-the-art speed-boat had sunk. The Institute of Cetacean Research released photographs last night of four large arrows they claim were found floating near the Ady Gil, which collided on Wednesday with the Japanese vessel the Shonan Maru No 2. The text of Japan's Institute of Cetacean Research press release follows: The antiwhaling group Sea Shepherd Conservation Society has apparently abandoned reported efforts to salvage or tow to port the disabled New Zealand watercraft Ady Gil. The real culprit behind the Japanese whaling boat collision. All Japanese boats hunting for whales should be blown the hell out of the ocean, any survivors left for the sharks to feed on. Anyone that works for "The Institute of Cetacean Research" can go burn in hell.
A three way split screen video of all currently available videos of the collision between Sea Shepherd vessel Ady Gil (formerly Earthrace) and the Japanese whaling fleet's Shonan Maru No. 2 The video from the Japanese vessel is from the Institute of Cetacean Research, and was released here: www.icrwhale.org The other two videos are from Sea Shepherd Conservation Society Bob Barker footage from here: www.youtube.com Ady Gil footage from here: www.youtube.com In the earlier part of the Ady Gil onboard video the skipper orders the crew cut power to conserve fuel and they wave goodbye to the Bob Barker. They appear to be winding down their day. The beginning of the Ady Gil onboard footage has been trimmed for brevity here, but can be viewed in full at the above link. Sync between the Ady Gil's camera and the others isn't perfect as it's very difficult to determine an accurate sync point. I believe it's accurate to within a second or so.
"Ady Gil: The Last Moments" This is footage taken from the Ady Gil, covering the three minutes prior to its catastrophic ramming by the Shonan Maru No. 2. Thanks to Luke van Horn, a Sea Shepherd officer currently aboard the MV Bob Barker, for making this available. It clearly shows the Ady Gil come to a full stop and the Shonan Maru No. 2 approach from a distance, LRAD and water cannons blasting, and smash into the Ady Gil. Sea Shepherd Conservation Society's fast new trimaran, sitting dead in the water, appears to have been deliberately rammed and critically damaged by the much larger Japanese whaling ship (the Shonan Maru No. 2) despite claims from some that the Ady Gil rammed it. Here is the footage from the Japanese ship: judge for yourself. Did the Ady Gil attempt to start its engines and get away, only to fail? Did it first try to move forward, then backward after the ramming? Hopefully further investigation will clarify the matter, but regardless one has to ask why the Shonan Maru No. 2 was heading directly for the stationary boat in the first place and why did it turn to starboard, t-boning the Ady Gil. From the start of the video, note that the water cannons are firing and an LRAD is blaring (compare with this video: www.youtube.com All of this may have also served to disorient the Ady Gil captain and crew. New Zealand's foreign minister says his country's maritime agency will carry out an investigation into a collision between a Japanese whaling vessel and a boat belonging to the Sea Shepherd anti-whaling protest group. The clash took place in the Southern ocean, in waters which come under Australian and New Zealand maritime authority. Sea Shepherd says its boat, the Ady Gil, was stationary and that the Japanese whaler, Shonan Maru, veered towards it and deliberately sliced off its bow. But Glenn Inwood, who works with a public relations firm hired by Japan's Institute of Cetacean Research, said Sea Shepherd had harassed the Shonan Maru for two hours and was solely to blame for the collision. The Australian government is under pressure to send its own ship to the area to police the standoff. Harry Fawcett reports.
Sea Shepherds Ady Gil slams into the Shonan Maru No. 2 and blame the Japanese. Sea Shepherd continues to hurl bottles of butyric acid on the decks of the whaling ships. The girly men have employed a laser device (Photonic Disruptor). The intended use of this device by the girly men was to temporally blind the Japanese whalers when harpooning the whales to save them from being captured. However the Ady Gil's crew of cowards used the laser device on a Japanese ship not engaged in whaling or harpooning. Could it be when Sea Shepherd used the laser device on the Japanese ship it caused the pilot to be blinded thus causing the ship to ram into the Ady Gil? Making Sea Shepherd responsible for the damage done to the Ady Gil donated to them. However looking at the video it is clear the Ady Gil purposely accelerated towards the Japanese ship. The Ady Gil cost around $1.5 million and was donated. Spoil children to not properly care for items given to them they do not have to work for. Thus their reckless behavior with the Ady Gil. About two years ago the Canadians confiscated their ship and they just left it there and purchased a new ship with money donated from suckers around the globe. From www.icrwhale.org The Institute of Cetacean Research says the collision in this video was between the Japanese whaling vessel Shonan Maru 2 and the Sea Shepherd anti-whaling vessel Adi Gil. Now it is up to the ICR to release more footage to counteract this claim.
Japan's Institute of Cetacean Research has released vision of the Ady Gil's collision with one of its whaling vessels in the Southern Ocean.
Japanese whaling ship Shonan Maru No. 2, operated by The Institute of Cetacean Research (ICR), just prior to catastrophically ramming Sea Shepherd ship Ady Gil on January 6, 2010.
The Japanese whaling fleet is currently in the Southern Ocean engaging in their seasonal whale hunt. As in years past Sea Shepherd is in pursuit of the whaling fleet. However as of this posting Sea Shepherd has not located the Japanese whaling fleet, but the Japanese have located Seas Shepherd. The Japanese have employed a vessel or two to follow Sea Shepherd. This enables the Japanese to radio Sea Shepherds coordinates to the main whaling fleet. This allows the main whaling fleet to avoid the area Sea Shepherd is polluting. During the last whaling season Sea Shepherded protested the use of LRAD by the Japanese mariners. Sea Shepherd is still throwing glass bottles to land and break on the deck of the Japanese ship creating a dangerous and hazardous situation for the Japanese mariners. Sea Shepherd complained the whalers use a water canon. Well this season Sea Shepherd is also using a water canon. So is Sea Shepherd validating the tactics of the whalers? It seems like Sea Shepherd has joined the Intergalactic Federation. They are using a laser device known as the Photonic Disruptor. This device if at the right range can cause blindness. It cost around $600.00 for this device. According to "The Daily Telegraph," the device is banned in Australia. - Best part is while Sea Shepherd is playing cat and mouse with this one Japanese whaling ship, the rest of the Japanese whaling fleeting is in the process of harvesting whales uninterrupted by Sea Shepherd. - Photographs and ...

This year while the Japanese were following Sea Shepherd (remember years past Sea Shepherd would follow the Japanese), from the stern of Sea Shepherd was or is a rope in the ocean with buoys tied to it. The goal is to have these buoys foul the Japanese propellers or rudders. Is that legal? It is also reported Sea Shepherd also employed either a laser beam or light in the direction of the Japanese ship. The beam or light was unable to achieve it's desired goal because of distance. "I'm commodore Tony and I'm reporting for duty." Captain Kangaroo and Cabin Boy pretend they have law enforcement authority hiding behind a badge the captain proudly wears. Sea Shepherd took their hallucinating a step further in August of 2008 when they issued an arrest warrant for the Japanese whalers. In the USA this type of delusion is called the "Wyatt Earp Syndrome." - This delusion gave birth to Commodore Tony because of the ebay purchase of a USA Navy hat. Could this be called a distortion of the "Popeye Syndrome?" Shiver me timbers me hearties! - The girly men of Sea Shepherd pretend to be pirates while playing on the high seas creating hazardous conditions for the Japanese mariners. These girly men have bastardized the pirate flag doing dishonor to the likes of these despicable sea fearing thugs of yore (they being real pirates of yesteryear). How can one dishonor a dishonorable lot as pirates? Thank you Sea Shepherd for that accomplishment. Google news on a daily bases reports of the exploits and preparation by Sea Shepherd and their spoiled children. While remaining mute about the Japanese whale hunt approaching and their preparation. Could this be the whaling season where sake will be pouring in celebration? Hmmmmm? However there was the following news: Prime Minister Yukio Hatoyama said, "I hate whale meat," and spoke to the Dutch prime minister Jan Peter Balkenende. Mr. Hatoyama urged Mr. Balkenende to take action against Sea Shepherd for their illegal ...
