[PLEASE READ] Ok, this was just a fun idea I had after viewing the Moulin Rouge! trailer (which has honestly got to be one of the most spectacular and exciting trailers I've ever watched). Anyway, I was looking around for a film to synch to the Moulin Rouge trailer and I came up with the idea to use IWTV clips. If anyone else has already done something like this, for this film, than I am extremely sorry. When I ran a search, nothing compatible came up. CLIPS were taken from INTERVIEW WITH THE VAMPIRE. AUDIO was taken from the MOULIN ROUGE! Trailer (which I strongly encourage you to find online and watch in its original context. It's epic.) Casting: Satine: Kirsten Dunst [Claudia] Christian: Brad Pitt [Louis] The Duke: Antonio Banderas [Armand] Those of you who are familiar with IWTV probably know this but for the benefit of those who have not, I will put a disclaimer. The character of Claudia from the film Interview with the Vampire is the equivalent of a woman trapped in a child's body - cursed to never grow up because she was turned into a vampire when she was a child and remained at that age, eternally young. Consequently, she is frustrated at this situation, especially since she had developed feelings for Louis, one of her protectors. It's a very complex relationship so when you watch this video, you have to take into account the fact that Claudia has the mind, yearnings and impulses of an adult. To be blunt, don't spam with comments claiming that I made Christian/Louis hook up with a child. Because Satine/Claudia, is not a child, even though she may look like one. Well, this was for a special occasion. July 1st is my brother's birthday, and since he loves The Vampire Chronicles, as do I, I decided to make him this in place of a silly KH vid. oo2. Song: How to Save a Life Artist: The Fray Footage: Interview with the Vampire (1994) Program: Vegas oo3. I really hate the first half of this. My Vegas is pretty slow when it comes to real-action clips, so there are glitches here and there. But I rather like the second half with Claudia. Basically what I'm trying to show here is how Louis wishes he could have saved the lives of the two people closest to him. Lestat, who gave him the Dark Gift and drifted away from him every day, and Claudia who was torn away from him. He tells the tale of how he misses them, wondering where exactly he went wrong. Guilty for delivering Lestat to the arms of death for a second time and for having his beloved daughter lost to Hell. Lestat may have lived, but he and Louis had reached a distance and he was no longer the same. In the end, all Louis wanted was the grace period when they were a family...
