Getting a ticket through tatkal is just next to impossible esp. during rush hours, mostly because of agents-railway employee nexsus. IRCTC.CO.IN server stops responding as soon as clock strikes 8 in the morning and remains deas till all tatkal seats are exhausted. I would like to believe that its just a technical problem than a manipulated move.I tried to get a tatkal ticket booked. Went to Patiala Railway station three days in ago. At 6 am on day1,5am on day2 and 4am on day 3-but in the end all I got was frustration and disappointment.

I was in an express train, it just leaved a stoppage and was gathering momentum, on next parallel track there was a slow moving goods train (open wagon-crushed stone carrier) and on a track far away a passenger train was also keeping up. Few moments later the passenger train drifted in other direction. It all was very interesting. if I could have shot it with my video camera!!!!

This man impressed me with his desire to earn his bread with respect. No amount of managerial skill and study in business school stands before him. This blind man is a real life Hero. In the same train I saw many healthy beggars with all their organs fit and fine to work but they choose begging over respectful hard work earning. There are countless healthy beggars in India, Pakistan, Bangladesh, even in so called developed nations like USA, UK, Germany, Australia etc. They are beggars because they choose humiliation over respect. Every where there are opportunities and resources to be explored, but if BLIND PEOPLE WITH HEALTHY EYES don't wanna work no any Govt or welfare plan is sufficient for them. First we should do our duties only then we are eligible to claim our rights.
