Scientists funded by NOAA and the National Science Foundation recorded the deepest erupting volcano yet discovered, describing high-definition video of the undersea eruption as spectacular. Eruption of the West Mata volcano, discovered in May, occurred nearly 4000 feet below the surface of the Pacific Ocean, in an area bounded by Fiji, Tonga and Samoa. We found a type of lava never before seen erupting from an active volcano, and for the first time observed molten lava flowing across the deep-ocean seafloor, said the missions Chief Scientist Joseph Resing, a chemical oceanographer at the University of Washington who collaborates with NOAA through the Joint Institute for the Study of the Atmosphere and Ocean. Though NOAA and partners discovered a much shallower eruption in 2004 in the Mariana Arc, the deeper we get, the closer the eruption is to those that formed most of the oceanic crust. This spectacular sequence is a close view of the eruption with violent magma degassing events producing bright flashes of hot magma. Lava is blown up into the water before settling back to the seafloor, and large plugs of lava flow rapidly down the slope. In the foreground is the front of the Jason remotely-operated vehicle (ROV) with sampling hoses. Dante finishes off the spider for good and somehow this same Phantom spider must have fought with Sparda since he somehow sees the Legendary Dark Knight in Dante. He arrives at a huge area where he encountered demons called Blades. They're pretty agile and they excel at close combat. Try to destroy their shields to make them easier to beat.

Wow. They may as well call this the Sanctuary of Spiked Tentacles of doom! Rayman gets a new Silver Lum to fly with the helicopter! Unfortunately, this Foutch makes up for Umber and smacks your ability away in the same level! This level is all about chopter-ing everywhere you need to go. There are wind current that push you through the areas so you only have to control right/left most of the time. But seriously, I don't think I've died anywhere more times then THIS level in the whole game. Re-try counts reaching the fifties for this one. N64 version had some slightly less responsive controls so this level would be hell on there (yet I had to do it to get more music...) But anyway, I managed to walk out with this almost-perfect result. Foutch had a see-able pattern, but can be hard to follow. I take accidental damage from it but that's only a scratch. You still loose a power fist. I did a little more editing to this video more than usual. If I hadn't cut out the beginning and loading screens, this wouldn't have fit! Well with that done, this is the third Mask and Polukus is that much close to being awakened. Just a bit more to go.

Its geologic features are continuously collapsing and rebuilding over very short periods of time. Update: These spatter cones no longer exist. The entire floor of the crater collapsed in July, 2007. The best bit is towards the end. Done on 19 May, 2007. The following day or so a helicopter reported a sudden eruption and lava spilled over the top of one of Puu O'o vents, don't know if it was this one. Then the day after a 4.7 and a 4.1 earthquake rocked this area. Had I known about these events we would not have approached the pond vent. Comment and I'll reply, thanks.
