Kartavaya, a non government organization is very unique of its kind, run entirely by college students of Indian School of Mines, Dhanbad for no other such organization exists in India. Kartavaya was started in the year 1999 by a group of ISM student headed by an ISM alumnus Mr. Amresh Mishra, presently an IPS officer. MICROMOUSE is a miniature/little autonomous robot, equipped with necessary hardware and software which have capabilities to navigate around the maze. It is programed in such a way that it finds its way from a predetermined starting position to the central area of maze unaided. The Micromouse will need to keep track of where it is, discover walls as it explores, map out the maze and detect when it has reached the goal. And if that is not sufficient, the fastest Micromouse gets the CUP!! This workshop has got all that is required to find the way through!! So if you have a mouse, or are thinking of getting involved in mouse construction then we would really like to hear from you.
