Here is the beginning of a 1993 episode of the syndicated "New" Family Feud. It's a celebrity edition pitting cast members of Roseanne (Roseanne herself, John Goodman, Laurie Metcalf, Sara Gilbert & Estelle Parsons) against cast members of the short-lived Jackie Thomas Show (Tom Arnold, Dennis Boutsikaris, Alison LaPlaca, Martin Mull and Michael Boatman) for the Tom & Roseanne Arnold Foundation. This Bullseye round is unique for the Ray Combs era of it; you all should already know why. Enjoy the show! No copyright infringement is intended.

[Please read] "I must say..." check out Martin Short in this video of goodwill and hilarity celebrating Second City's 50th anniversary and reviewing the gifted comedian's grooviest SCTV characterization: "Jackie Rogers, Jr." All the male cast members of SCTV were terrific and talented. I dislike "playing favorites" among them, but I must admit I especially love Martin Short's brief, but memorable contributions to the show. This video is dedicated to Martin, Andrea, Catherine, Joe, Dave, and Eugene. I hope your Second City 50th Anniversary Reunion appearances were a great and happy success! A film created for National Library Week by George Mason University Libraries. The short film provides informative lessons about preservation and proper book care. Framed in a lighthearted and whimsical manner, the film derails traditional library stereotypes and reinforces how fun a library can be. It also gives a special behind the scenes look at the library preservation lab. This work is covered by a Creative Commons License: creativecommons.org

There are some great clips of Jackie (still the best!) and all the other MGM lions already on YouTube, but I decided to add my personal favorites: 2 early examples when MGM was transitioning to talkies. The first is from Show People, a wonderful Marion Davies film. The roars are somewhat drowned out by the opening fanfare, but it is definitely unique. Show People was a silent film released with a synchronized music score. There is a Jackie clip on YouTube from the silent feature Ben-Hur, but the classic roar is a result of the film being reissued well after sound films had come out. The second roar in this clip comes from the all-talking all-singing hodgepodge Hollywood Revue of 1929. This film was a vehicle to show off the voices of MGM's silent stars, Jackie not excluded! The aural quality of the roar was the result of the era's primitive sound equipment, needless to say. Around 1930 Jackie's more familiar roar debuted, but I have no idea with which film this was. Interspersed with the roars is a brief scene from Laurel & Hardy's short subject, The Chimp, in which Stan calls the lion "MGM"! I know there was already a clip posted to YouTube of Coffee from Roast Beef & Movies but I thought I'd add a duplicate from the Pete Smith short entitled Menu.
www.jackiechanfansite.com Searching for Jackie Chan is a movie about a kid who is... searching for Jackie Chan. The movie features a Chinese boy living in Indonesia who comes to Beijing in hopes of study with his idol, Jackie Chan. Jackie Chan is actually in the film as well in a short segment. The movie will be released in China on July 3rd. The whole idea of the film seems interesting. Jackie actually makes an appearance. It's always fun when actors portray themselves (think Neil Patrick Harris in Harold and Kumar). Can't wait to see the film. Credit CRI Online
Jackie Mason in his typical comedic style elaborates on the benefits of sharing a private charter flight, and saving nearly half the cost by allowing another party to fly on the same flight. Try it - you'll like it, is his recommendation.

"A wonderful - though emotionally painful - short is Zoe's Day, by director Rebecca Gwynne. This 10-minute excursion through the day of 7-year-old Zoe is filled with ominous overtones from the start, and culminates in a shocking moment of despair." ~Kevin Gilette, Dallas Fringe Report Starring Ruby Jerins (Nurse Jackie, Remember Me) and Michael Kelly (Invincible, Changeling). This film is dedicated to the memory of Phillip Allen Craig.

The Davis Sisters was a Gospel group founded by Ruth ("Baby Sis") Davis and featuring her sisters Thelma, Audrey and Alfreda. Imogene Greene joined the group in 1950, and was later replaced by Jackie Verdell when Greene left to join the Caravans. They are not to be confused with the 1950s country music act also known as The Davis Sisters (country), which launched the career of Skeeter Davis. The core of the group were biological sisters but over the decades some were replaced by non-related performers. *Ruth Davis - nicknamed Baby Sis, founded the group at age 17. She was the featured vocalist with a bluesy voice and could also play the piano but never did on stage. She was the creative brains behind the group's musical arrangements and was not afraid to try something new. Some of her gospel songs contain doo-wop vocal techniques culled from current rock and roll songs. One of her most unusual arrangements was "Earnestly Praying", whose music is a cover to a 1961 pop hit, "Tossing' and Turnin'". The Hammond organ's keyboard-instruments were cleverly used to fill in for other instruments used in the original song. Ruth died in 1970. Ray Charles' wife sang at her funeral, which was held at Cornerstone Baptist Church in Philadelphia, PA. *Alfreda Davis - She was the long-time business manager of the group. She always collected the money from the promoter before the Sisters entered the auditorium and she led the group on stage. She was the youngest sister who had started ...
The Dixie Hummingbirds are an influential American gospel music group, spanning more than 75 years from the jubilee quartet style of the 1920s, through the "hard gospel" quartet style of Gospel's golden age in the 1940s and 1950s, to the eclectic pop-tinged songs of the present era. Formed in 1928 in Greenville, South Carolina, by James B. Davis and his classmates, they sang in local churches until they finished school, then started touring throughout the South. Lead singer Ira Tucker joined the group in 1938 at age 13, and they signed with Decca Records. In addition to his formidable vocal skills, Tucker introduced the energetic showmanship - running through the aisles, jumping off stage, falling to his knees in prayer - copied by many quartets that followed. Tucker also took the lead in the stylistic innovations adopted by the group, combining gospel shouting and subtle melismas with the syncopated delivery made popular by The Golden Gate Quartet, as well as adventuresome harmonies, which the group called "trickeration", in which Paul Owens or another member of the group would pick up a note just as Tucker left off. The group relocated to Philadelphia, Pennsylvania in the 1940s. During the years, a number of talented singers starred in the group--their bass, William Bobo, baritone Beachy Thompson, James Walker, who replaced Owens, and Claude Jeter, who went on to star for The Swan Silvertones. The Hummingbirds added a guitarist, Howard Carroll, who added even more ...
In their traffic light (rock) sweaters, Mr. Red, Mr. Amber & Mr. Green climb up a craggy cliff face in a slice of nostalgia from the British tourist office....... For those who think Can 'sold out' (circa 76's Flow Motion) by making catchy, accessible music - please listen to this 1971 single (the flip side of the break beat masterpiece Halleluwah from the incomparable Tago Mago). Turtles Have Short Legs showcases the fun side of this 'serious', apparently impenetrable German band. A track like this in their cannon makes them one of the greats, they could produce catchy fun amazing pop songs and electronic epics that can melt even the most sober of heads.

Making an AMV about Dragon Ball is almost a chilhood dream, lol, altought i never had patience to do it, finally did it, so i decide to do one about the final match in the 21st Tenkaichi Budokai(world tournament) between Son Goku and Muten Roshi disguised as Jackie Chun! This fight marks the beginning of what made Dragon Ball so popular, the fights! As probably you can see i increased the speed of almost all the clips, not only to make the amv smaller but mostly because Dragon Ball is already 20 years old, at the time animation was a bit slow, so i speed up things to make a more fluid animation! The music, to does who dont know, is Dragon Ball original japanese opening music!
Just a short video from some clips of jet li, bruce lee, tony jaa, and stephen chow. I couldn't find any jackie chan ones that I wanted to use. Jackie Chan and 6 time kickboxing world champion Benny "The Jet" Urquidez squared off in one of the most legendary fights ever created. This was his first face-off with American champion kickboxer Benny "The Jet" Urquidez. This is one of the best fights ever filmed. Benny is a great fighter and a legend --good enough that he tested Jackie's skills to the limit. In fact, throughout the filming of this scene, Jackie teased him that they should fight a real match, not just a movie brawl. "Come on, Benny, let's do it," he'd say. And Benny would say, "Any time, Jackie, any time." Well, the time was always "sometime soon," and by the time the film was finished, he finally caught on that Jackie was just joking. "To be honest, I don't know who would have won if we did fight. He's that good", Jackie says. OK, Jackie, you are good but he is the real thing. Don't even think about trying to get in the ring with this guy.
[edit] Asian martial arts film stars Chin Tsi-ang became the first martial arts film star at age 16 in 1925, having begun training at age 8. Sammo Hung is her grandson. Kwan Tak-Hing was the original celluloid Wong Fei-Hung, starring as the Hung Gar master in roughly 100 films from the late 1940s to the 1960s, possibly the most prolific movie series ever.[citation needed] Kwan himself was a master of Tibetan White Crane rather than Hung Gar and specialized in the use of the whip. Yu So Chow is probably the best known female martial arts actress of the 50's and 60's.[citation needed] She starred in over 170 martial arts films, still a record among all actresses. Connie Chan Po-chu, a Cantonese screen idol who grew up starring in wuxia films during the 1960s and was famous for her male roles. Bruce Lee was one of the most influential martial artist of the 20th century. His movie Enter the Dragon (1973) was one of the films that brought the genre into mainstream Western acceptance. His fame also helped popularize Wing Chun, the martial art that he originally trained in, and Jeet Kune Do, the martial art that he later created based on one's own personal preferences, applying modified techniques from various styles. Bolo Yeung practiced martial arts from childhood, and also became a professional bodybuilder. He also starred in Enter the Dragon. His favorite martial art is Tai Chi.
