Jackie Barnett has no followers yet. Be the first one to follow.
In support of the Canadian Cancer Society, and his wife Jackie, Bruce Barnett shaved his head, along with his daughter Lauren and his son Colin.
Rather than have her hair fall out due to chemotherapy, Jackie Barnett shaves her head after her first treatment. Please excuse the poor quality, as it was filmed on a cell phone, and the sound is crazy out of sync.
In support of the Canadian Cancer Society and his mother Jackie, Coin Barnett shaves his head.
After raising almost $3200, Lauren Barnett shaved her head in support of the Canadian Cancer Society and her mother Jackie Barnett

Trailer for the 1959 Rock N Roll movie Go Johnny Go. Rock-n-roll promoter Alan Freed holds a talent search to develop a new rock star to be called Johnny Melody, then must find the elusive, mystery contestant (Jimmy Clanton) who doesn't know he has won. This is another Alan Freed 50's rock and roll movie. With about 20 songs from performers such as Jimmy Clanton, Chuck Berry, Eddy Cochran, Jackie Wilson, Ritchie Valens and The Cadillacs and more, if you like 50's rock, then you will like the music in this one. This is definitely not a movie for plot or acting, but instead just plain musical fun. Alan Freed ... Himself Jimmy Clanton... Johnny Melody Sandy Stewart... Julie Arnold Chuck Berry... The Pyramids of SNAFU live on the Mandala Stage at the Glastonbury Festival 30th June 2002. With Guests Nik Turner and Terry Ollis. I filmed about 1 hour of this set but it was so dark in the Mandala Stage tent that most of it is pitch black. This song was in the early part of the set, when it was not so dark. However I've had to push up the brightness and lower the contrast to try and improve the image. However another great moment of Classic history. The Pyramids of SNAFU embody the true spirit of Glastonbury Festival, they turn up year after year and run the Mandala stage - for free - putting on loads of bands on their Bike powered 12 volt PA system 'Dr Barnetts Amazing Solar Audio Cyclonator' and perform their own brand of chaotic Space Rock n Roll. Long may they fly. Colin Wilson - Guitar & Vocals, Dr M - Bass, Dr Chris Barnett - Violin. With guests: Nik Turner - Sax & Flute, Terry Ollis - Drums, Jackie Windmill - Djembe, Plus unknown percussionist.

In the last two years of her life, Phyllis Dillon, the songbird whom they dubbed the queen of rocksteady, endured not just the pain of debilitating cancer, but emotional trauma over a string of incidents which forced her to abandon plans to resettle in her homeland, Jamaica, friends and relatives said. Dillon, after being wooed back to the music industry by promoters, built a five-bedroom house in Linstead, St Catherine, the town of her birth. Her plan was to spend her final days there. But this was not to be. Unscrupulous persons, thinking that a wealthy superstar was among them, preyed upon her constantly, demanding money and threatening her with harm if she did not fork over. "She said she got a raw deal and so she was leaving Jamaica," said her cousin, Everton Dillon, with whom she grew up. "They threatened her to the point where she became very bitter, that even before she took ill in February of this year, she became so broken in spirit, she decided that she would sell the house and return to live aboard once more," a friend who requested anonymity said. Everton Dillion confirmed that the ill-fated house was being sold. The Phyllis Dillon story is one of hard knocks. She first left Jamaica in 1974 when she became fed-up with what she saw as the stagnation of her career and the way in which female artistes on a whole were being treated by the local music industry. "Out of the frustration of being ripped off, despite having an impressive catalogue of hits, she left ...
