Earlier, I found a studio recording by the Jackie Collins Band. Usually, these turn out to be some not too good local band trying to make a record, but that one turned out to be pretty good jazz/R&B. I posted videos of that record to YouTube a few days ago. Didn't know anything about the band, still don't, but digging through that pile of records again, I found a 2nd recording by them, this time with the original sleeve that came with the record from the studio. Turns out it was made right here in Portland! Cool! Here is a side from that 2nd record, a song called 'Kidney Stew'. Fine R&B from Portland, Oregon. Enjoy!
