You have to download the softwares from the links i have provided and you can jailbreak your phone easily. iPhone dev and hacker named Sherif Hashim came up with a way to activate phones without having the original SIM cards but now it seems like Apple has found out about the phonebook SIM card trick and they have blocked it. And so if you activated your phone using phonebook SIM card, you will be getting the dreaded "Different SIM Detected" error on your lockscreen. This is the only way to fix this error First of all download the following softwares Download this version of itunes (necessary for this jailbreak) bit.ly Download ios 4.01 firmware bit.ly Download i-FunBox for Windows (necessary to remove errors on jailbreakme) bit.ly Download i-FunBox for mac bit.ly Follow the steps below to fix this problem Step 1: Restore to original iOS 4.0.1 from iTunes. You can now use JailbreakMe.com to jailbreak your iPhone 4 firmware 4.0 and 4.0.1 and install the new version of "ultrasn0w" to unlock your 01.59.00 modem firmware version of iPhone 4. Here is a step-by-step tutorial on how to jailbreak and unlock your iPhone 4: 1. On your iPhone 4, launch Safari and go to: www.jailbreakme.com 2. When you are ready, slide to jailbreak. If nothing happens in 10 seconds, clean your Safari cache (Go to Settings, Safari, Clear Cache) and reboot your iPhone. Try to go to JailbreakMe.com again and jailbreak your iPhone 4. 3. Cydia will appear in your home screen. Launch Cydia. 4. Let Cydia refresh and go to "Changes" tab at the bottom of the screen. Tap on "Upgrade" at the top left of Cydia screen. 5.
