Question 1: Why was this game important to you? This game is important to me because football at the time had just became a sport that i had started to show interest in. This was also the the game me and my friends would setup tournaments in every weekend. Question 2: From a Design Perspective, What made the game fun? This game was just plain fun. It wasn't so much the graphics but it was the straight forward easy to learn. Object of the game was simple choose your play, move a bit throw a pass or hand off and TOUCHDOWN!!!!. It didn't need all the special moves and buttons to play just friends.
Question 1: Why was this game important to you? This game is important to me because this is one of my all-time favorite football games. It wasn't so much for the graphics but the game-play was great. Me and my friends also use to have tournaments for this game. Question 2: From a Design Perspective, What made the game fun? The play style of this game was by far one of the most accurate for its time. You didnt have the special moves and 5 or six buttons to push to do certain things it was choose your play and move a bit then hit a button and TOUCHDOWN!!!!!
Question 1: Why was this game important to you? This game is important to me because it was the first sports game I had played on the NES. I was also given the NES and this was one of the games that was given to me. Question 2: From a Design Perspective, What made the game fun? This game was fun because of the detail that was put into it at the time. This game was one of the biggest sports games that the NES came out. When this game came out it was well known for its basketball stars that the game was created after.
Question 1: Why was this game important to you? This game is important to me cause I spent hours on this game after I got it as a Christmas present. I sat playing this game to master it as well as see how quick I could get through it. Question 2: From a Design Perspective, What made the game fun? This game was fun because it was challenging and for the time period was in my opinion one of the best sports game. This games graphics were huge for it being a Nintendo game which even included cut scenes in it to make the story more interactive.
Question 1: Why was this game important to you? This game is important to me for the reason that it was the first game me and a friend spent all night and part of the next day playing. Question 2: From a Design Perspective, What made the game fun? I think the thing that made this game is at the time there wasn't a genre in this type of game. This gave you the ability to build you own track and then race on it. It also set the standard for most racing games you see now a days.
Question 1: Why was this game important to you? This Game is important to me because it was the first game I had ever played and was the one that got me interested in how games are made and work. Question 2: From a Design Perspective, What made the game fun? This game taught me the importance of a good storyline and music are in making the game fun. With the storyline that was made for this game it kept me engaged in the game and wanting to keep playing it to hear the net part of the story. The music in the game was developed to match the story line with this in mind it made the story come to life.
