LeBron James 47 points vs New York Knicks February 6 2010 CLEVELAND -- LeBron James arrived fashionably late Saturday night to his New York party. He didn't need long to catch up. James scored 47 points, including 24 straight for Cleveland in the first half, and the Cavaliers held off the Knicks 113-106 for their 11th straight victory. "It's something that can't be explained," James said of his stunning streak. "It's a feeling I wish I could be in every game, but it's not possible. It was a great moment." James, who historically has saved some of his best performances for the Knicks, set a franchise record with 35 points in the first half. He finished one point shy of his season high while adding eight rebounds and eight assists. He needed just 5:29 to score 24 straight -- 16 in a row to end the first quarter and eight straight to start the second. He closed the first quarter with four 3-pointers in the final two minutes, including a pair from 32 feet in the final 37 seconds. He shot 8 of 11 for the quarter. "You sometimes become a fan because he's taking 3-point shots way beyond the arc," New York's Chris Duhon said. "Sometimes you get star-struck and you just start to get in a daze." James' final 3 of the first quarter, from the "A" in the Cavaliers' half-court logo, came at the buzzer. After watching a plethora of Callum's remakes, I gained the inspiration to tackle a full-length remake. I had finished working on an updated James and wanted to replicate a simple episode that featured him, and James & the Express sprang to mind. I was originally going to do Dirty Objects, as I had envisioned a very practical and professional way of doing the crash, but I'd thought I'd save myself the trouble and try something easier. This one took me awhile despite this. I was constantly switching back and forth between the actual episode and the editor to make sure this film was as accurate as possible. It hopefully paid off; I'm not exactly sure. Funnily enough, this is only the second full length remake I've done ever, so I'm a bit rusty. There are a few area in which the film is a bit awkward, such as the scene after Gordon leaves the station: James' pacing was way out of the realms of smoothness. Ho hum, I say; like I said, I'm a bit rusty when it comes to remakes. I might try to do more in the future, but I shan't do many lest I become a form of competition for SI3DFilms, and I'd never like that to happen, as I'm a humble filmmaker, sometimes....

After a week of James, we conclude the Trainz saga with James and the Express! Gordon, who has recently been teasing James about his bootlace incident, pompously claims he is able to pull the express by instinct. This is blown in his face when he takes a wrong turn the next day and ends up back where he started from. The angry passengers demand a refund, but the Fat Controller decides to enlist James to take the train. He does it so well, he is allowed to take the Express again sometimes. Gordon and James become friends, and James is now a really useful (not to mention splendid) engine. Stay tuned for a special James themed music video, telling us all how splendid our favorite red engine can be! This is an example of live looping and improv to see what can happen -sometimes it turns out great sometimes it churns out mistakes which happens when you are running 3 different phrases at one time. I was trying to build a mounting chaos into the "paranoia strikes deep" line. Last part is just a vocal improv until I can find something really solid for the end.
