Nery Barcelona relives an XVIII century japanese tradition interpreting an otoko geisha to alert the population about this environmetal catastrophe. Nery Barcelona faces the city with a concrete purpose: to protect the existence of this endangered creature. Nery launches the campaign Save the Geisha! to arise consciousness on the importance of biological diversity. The biodiversity found on Earth today is the product of 3.5 billion years of evolution and is crucial to the survival of our species. Biodiversity is the measure of the health of biological systems. In 1577 Tokugawa renovated and expanded the castle, renaming it Hamamatsu-jo. Ieyasu spent 17 years here and engaged in some of his most well known battles from this castle.
