Jasper Howard played three years of football at the University of Connecticut before he had his life taken from him early in his Junior year. Jazz hailed from Miami, Florida and excelled at football his entire life, however, he will be remembered for being a phenomenal person as well as the positive impact he left on so many lives. RIP JASPER HOWARD

Oct. 31,2009 Pre-game Uconn/Rutgers Football
Prior to the Rutgers-UConn game, the University of Connecticut held a small tribute to Jasper Howard, who was tragically killed on October 18, 2009. Everyone respected the moment of silence, and the band and a lot of fans wore #6 shirts to honor Jazz. Even as a Rutgers fan, I hope this video serves as a constant reminder that he will be missed, that he had a whole university that loved him, and that he was taken from us way too soon. Godspeed Jasper.
