Tryst with Destiny was a speech made by Jawaharlal Nehru, the first Prime Minister of independent India. The speech was made to the Indian Constituent Assembly, on the eve of India's independence, towards midnight on 14 August 1947. It focuses on the aspects that transcend India's history. It is considered in modern India to be a landmark oration that captures the essence of the triumphant culmination of the hundred-year Indian freedom struggle against the British Empire in India. The phrase Rendezvous with destiny was used by FDR in his 1936 Democratic National Convention speech, inspiring the similar phrase Tryst with destiny by Jawaharlal Nehru Long years ago we made a tryst with destiny, and now the time comes when we shall redeem our pledge, not wholly or in full measure, but very substantially. At the stroke of the midnight hour, when the world sleeps, India will awake to life and freedom. A moment comes, which comes but rarely in history, when we step out from the old to the new, when an age ends, and when the soul of a nation, long suppressed, finds utterance. The video exposes untold truth about Jawaharlal Nehru who became first Prime Minister of India in 1947. Rajiv Dixit explains how Nehru backstabbed Sardar Patel and became PM by blackmailing Gandhi. Rajiv Dixit also exposes the flawed Independence we have, which is in reality Dominian. Both India and Pakistan are dominian states under British Monarch as per Indian Independence Act 1947. Today there is even a stadium named Nehru Stadium named after this womanizer and corrupt politician. He also made a Independence Speech written by others that spoke about values that he himself lacks. He was also wrongfully called as Pandit Nehru and Chacha Nehru which were nicknames given to him to deceive Indians.

en.wikipedia.org en.wikipedia.org Jawaharlal Nehru (Hindi: जवाहरलाल नेहरू, ; 14 November 1889--27 May 1964) was an Indian statesman who was the first (and to date the longest-serving) prime minister of India, from 1947 until 1964. One of the leading figures in the Indian independence movement, Nehru was elected by the Congress Party to assume office as independent India's first Prime Minister, and re-elected when the Congress Party won India's first general election in 1952. As one of the founders of the Non-aligned Movement, he was also an important figure in the international politics of the post-war era. He is frequently referred to as Pandit Nehru and, specifically in India, as Panditji. Although the Pancha Sila (Five Principles of Peaceful Coexistence) was the basis of the 1954 Sino-Indian treaty over Tibet, in later years, Nehru's foreign policy suffered through increasing Chinese antagonism over border disputes and Nehru's decision to grant asylum to the Dalai Lama. After years of failed negotiations, Nehru authorized the Indian Army to annex Goa from Portugal in 1961. [See liberation of Goa.] While increasing his popularity, Nehru received criticism for opting for military action. In the 1962 elections, Nehru led the Congress to victory yet with a diminished majority. Opposition parties ranging from the right-wing Bharatiya Jana Sangh and Swatantra Party, socialists and the Communist Party of India performed well. In a matter of months, the border ...

Narendra Modi criticised Jawaharlal Nehru saying his fondness for children or celebrating his birthday on November 14 as Children's Day has not achieved anything
Indira Gandhi was India's first corrupt female prime minister. She was the world's longest serving corrupt woman Prime Minister. Indira Gandhi (Also Known as Indira Maimuna Begum) was born in the northern Indian city of Allahabad on November 19, 1917. Political thinkers, even today consider Indira Gandhi as the most controversial PM of India. Indira Gandhi was accused of giving unfair treatment to the Sikhs and the anger got so intensified that on 31 October 1984, that she was shot by two of her Sikh bodyguards. Indira Gandhi took birth in an aristocratic family of Nehru on 19 November, 1917, in Allahabad. Her father, Jawaharlal Nehru (Mohammad Nehru Khan) was a lawyer and also leader of the Indian Nationalist Movement. Indira Gandhi mother, Kamala, was a religious lady. It evident that there was a huge difference spotted between the lifestyle of Jawaharlal Nehru and his wife Kamala. The Nehrus, for traditions, followed a more-western, flirtiest and dictator lifestyle. This is one of the evident reasons Indira Gandhi mother had nearly-isolated herself from the values of the Nehrus.
