Amazing what you'll see down at Kamikaze Park, on any given day. Recently SuperDave got his Habu and it got a Blue Angel paint job like mine. New Kamikaze Blue Angels recruits are needed. Krylon Fusion Blue and yellow, little masking tape, and get rid of the snake stickers lol This is Dave and I doing some laps, and at the end, a belly to belly circuit with very close formation Blue Angels pass. Next we'll be working on climbouts with a stall each way, and starburst with 3 or more of us. Soon to be three of those and also the full white Habu body is coming out from Parkzone. I'm thinking Hoffman Magnetics Storm and a 5cell ;-)) Anyways, after SuperDave and I , Roman and Fernando tow a Mini Slinger with the Parkzone Corsair. The motor mount had come off the Slinger so what better time to try it unpowered. First flight was quick as the tow rope snapped but both were ok. Then a longer flight for the 2nd one, but there was a problem lol Slinger went one way, while corsair was going the other, and they both stopped dead in the air LMAO. You see the Corsair diving but he can't start flying because the slinger is trying to glide still above him hahahaha Just hilarious, but both were all good, no real damage and good job guys. This is my T-45 EDF jet. I Got it from a guy on RCG for 10 bucks. It did not have a fan in it but it did cime with a 25 amp ESC, servos and a brand new extra wing. Yes, it was beat up some but at that price it was a great deal. I repainted it and added a coat of WBPU to make it look good again. It was made for a 64mm fan but I wanted more power. So I put in a HET 70mm 4 blade fan, Sapac Blue Thunder motor 3100 Kv, 70 amp ESC , All new 9g metal gear servos and fly it on a 4s 2650 30C pack. As you can see the winds were howling at 15 to 20 mph or better today. But I don't mind flying in the wind at all. Filmed with a Jazz camera mounted to the rim of my hat.
Looking at the Parkzone Habu, realized it would be very easy to turn it into a Blue Angels paint scheme. Plane looks a lot like an A4 which was previously a Blue Angels Jet. I used a paint called Krylon Fusion, no primer and keep the can a little further away from the foam if you can. Don't get the H20 Fusion, it is horrible, but this one is great. We paint all our parkzone stuff with it, especially Strykers. I have one all ready in the same scheme and will be putting that up at the same time as the Habu too. I have also gotten some of the Blue Angels decals that I can put on here now too. I"ll do another vid with the finish product some time. Just doing my usual Habu flight, some figure 8 touch and goes are great with it, rudder turn around the corner, bleed off most of the airspeed, then Main Gear Only Touchn Goes LOL What a great plane to fly and learn EDFs on too. I love watching these kinds of videos. We all fly. And can relate to doing it commercially. And it's the same for all of us who fly like this. Kinda a romantic thing really. You just get up in a plane and end up somewhere new entirely. :))) I left LA for the BlogVegas Gathering in August.

flying my Axn Floater Jet (aka "clouds fly') pusher prop from Hobbyking - with cheap hobby king keychain camera aboard. this plane is a clone of the well known Multiplex easystar - but already has ailerons (no need to chopmod them in) it has a small but powerful enough brushless motor to climb out at 45* indefinitely with an 1800 milliamp lipo on board turning a 5x5 prop. it's neither under nor over powered - it's adequate in all respects. out of the box it's 4 channel and ready for your battery receiver and transmitter of choice... it's ready to fly in under 30 minutes after getting the box open motor/esc/prop combo is well balanced and adequate to run and climb nicely at 1/2 throttle till the battery runs down - with frequent short blips out to 3/4 and full throttle for hard maneuvering. pretty neat plane for 60 dollars flies and thermals well with a 1800 3s pack. DO NOT run this plane with a 4s - it's ESC isn't big enough to handle it - also don't try to run it on a 6x4 without upgrading the ESC.... Personally I say leave it alone (paint it maybe? I did. ) - it's good flyer right out of the box. as you can see from the short vid... it's a pretty maneuverable rig with adequate but not stupid huge control authority -and with thermal conditions, and be flown long duration with minimal motor run - it is made of EPO, meaning it can be painted with solvent based paints, and repaired with standard CA and kicker. Skip half the game glitch: Tutorial/FAQS. Ive had a lot of YT users send me PM's asking me when Ill do up a more detailed tutorial of this skip, well here it is! Ive had complaints that my other vid doesn't show the "whole process/sequence" from grapples to chain break. So in this vid you can see me go from the swinging grapples before the judges and continue all the way to breaking the chain on first visit without any bits edited out. Here is an FAQs section that covers the most common questions Ive had to answer over and over again, in the last month or so: Q. How come you have the Cestus/Whip/other weapons etc. so early? A. Boats and Birds by Gregory and the Hawk Covered by me. Updated version in HD I re-recorded all tracks. I recorded the guitar, lead vocal, high harmony and low harmony separate so I could have better control over each volume. I sung it in a slightly different way this time. Everything else is still set the same;Adobe Audtion 1.5 using QuickVerb to all tracks, but only added Chorus to the harmony parts. And of course I'm using the same video. I've since deleted the old video. And, yes, I'm playing the guitar and singing all parts. My guitar strings need to be changed and it took me a VERY long time to get this just right as I'm still "learning" guitar. Also, you may have to cut your bass down a bit if you are listening through your computer's speakers and you have a sub woofer attached. Finally, it actually sounds better if you have a good pair of headsets and if you are able to watch it in HD as you can hear the effects cleaner and better. I won't have many videos posted until I get better at playing guitar. But, I figured I was able to play this one song and figured I'd share it. In any event, hopefully this one looks and sounds a bit better. Enjoy. Here In The Maiden Flight I've Done Another Hand Launch Test, And There's No Lack Of Power As You Can See From The Under Hand Toss Into The Air Of The F-4. The F-4 Feels To Be A Little Faster Than The F-16 Which Was Kinda A Little Suprising To Me. But All In All The F-16 Seemed To Be A Little More Stalbe In Flight To Me. I think this coaster challenges (if not breaks) new records here on YouTube for RCT3 coasters. You've all seen dueling coasters, and maybe even a three-way dueling coaster. But I doubt you've ever seen a 4-coaster dueling coaster. This one's called "The Blue Angels," named after the US Navy's fighter jet show. If you've never seen the Blue Angels before, I strongly recommend it, and if not, look elsewhere on YouTube to find a video of them. They're so good, they inspired me to make a coaster after them! The coaster starts off with the Blue Angels' signature maneuver, the "flower," then the coasters break apart and go four different directions. The main segment starts off with coasters #1 & 2 dueling on the smaller half, including the "split" shown at 1:43, followed by the crossing diagnonals at 1:46. Coasters #3 & 4 are on the opposite side, as they do a fast fly-by towards each other at 1:53, followed by #4 passing quickly over #3 with another barrel roll. Coaster #4 splits off of the rest of the coasters and does a high-speed cobra roll at 3:12, followed by the ascent of the tall tower that it inches over the top of, shown at 3:21. Meanwhile, coaster #3 falls into ranks with coasters #1 & 2, and the three of them race over one-and-a-half hills and a tight turn at 3:31. For the finale, the four coasters get into "Delta Formation," and the four of them race through the twisting loops shown at 4:02.
