Jet Blue Flight Attendent, not quite Steven Slater flips out and quits his job by exiting through the escape hatch and sliding down the slide. This is a reenactment, spoof, or parody. We used the ground transportation, or the Jet Bus transport instead of a plane because we're not quite as popular as some YouTubers and therefore, we don't get access to airplanes. [Sticks tongue out in jealousy at You-Know-Who]. Enjoy!! Relax! We're Railbird Pictures and spoofs are what we do best!

Jet Blue flight attendant talks about arrest
Steven Slater, 39, a flight attendant for US airline JetBlue, dramatically quit his job on Monday after arguing with a passenger and fleeing via the plane's emergency exit slide. Slater had argued with a passenger who struck him in the face with a bag. After launching an expletive filled tirade over the public address system, Slater grabbed a beer from the beverage cart and fled. He drove home, where he was consoled by his boyfriend.

Slater approached the individual, only to be conked in the head with the suitcase and told to "f-ck off." He responded by getting on the intercom and saying: "To the f---ing a--hole who told me to f--- off, it's been a good 28 years. I've had it. That's it." Slater then opened the emergency hatch, grabbed his two carry-on bags - and two beers! - and jumped down the inflatable airplane slide to safety. At least temporarily.
Jet Blue Flight attendant leaves plane
CBSNEWS - Jet Blue flight attendant Steven Slater's memorable tarmac meltdown at JFK airport has made him a hero among flight attendants online. Michelle Miller reports.
www.mahalo.com JetBlue flight attendant Steven Slater was arrested after allegedly cursing out a passenger on the tarmac at New York's JFK Airport, then deploying a plane's emergency chute and leaving the scene, shouting "That's it, I'm done." ''The New York Times'' quotes an anonymous law enforcement official as saying that the incident unfolded as JetBlue Flight 1052 from Pittsburgh was taxiing toward the gate at JFK Airport on the afternoon of August 9, 2010. A passenger got up and began removing luggage from an overhead compartment - ignoring Slater's instructions to remain seated. As Slater approached the passenger, he was "struck in the head" by the luggage. After exchanging words with the passenger, Slater "got on the plane's public-address system and cursed out the passenger for all to hear." After telling passengers that "It's been great!" Slater activated the plane's emergency chute and slid out onto the tarmac. CNN quoted a source as saying Slater "grabbed beer from the beverage cart" before his abrupt and dramatic departure. Slater was arrested at his home in Queens shortly after the incident. He is charged with reckless endangerment and criminal mischief. The FAA and the Port Authority police were said to be investigating the incident. New York's WCBS says a handcuffed Slater could be seen leaving the Port Authority Police Headquarters with a cut on his forehead, "a smirk on his face and absolutely nothing to say." WCBS says a judge has granted bail for ...

"A JetBlue Airways Corp. (NASDAQ:JBLU) flight attendant is being held on bail after he pulled an exit chute after he got into an argument with a passenger Monday. The plane had just landed at Kennedy International Airport when Steven Slater activated an exit chute. A judge set Slater's bail at $2500 Tuesday, and the flight attendant remains in police custody. Slater faces felony charges of criminal mischief and reckless endangerment, The New York Times reports. Slater's court-appointed lawyer Howard Turman argued in court that the flight attendant acted in accordance with airline policy by first checking the tarmac outside before pulling the exit chute. Varying accounts of the incident leading up to Slater's actions have surfaced, including a party alleging that a woman slammed the overhead compartment into Slater's head, and another saying that the same woman argued with Slater throughout the flight and Slater seemed to want to avoid the conflict by pulling the escape shoot.
