I'm playing licks I use most for a pedal of this type. My chain is a Fender MIM Thinline Tele to the GSR, to the GSB, to a Hermida Audio Reverb to a Fender Super Champ XD with Tung Sol tubes (6v6). All is linked by George L cables. All recorded through a Macbook with an Apogee ONE. Disclaimer: I kinda forgot the camera was on! What you see is me screwing around, pushing the pedal, trying to hear harmonics come, go, fade, the depth of the overdrive and whether or not it 'farts' at low volumes. That said, I listened to my vids and laughed at my playing as at a few points you can tell I was focused on listening and not playing. Oh well, honesty abounds and so does humility! I'm no Gearmandude. What you see is me tinkering try to pull sounds out of these things- bad notes and all!

Here is a quick comparison of the sounds of the Fulltone OCD overdrive / distortion pedal with the Jetter Gain Stage Gold overdrive / distortion. In order of appearance, a Seymour Duncan Parallel Axis Trembucker Distortion PATB-2 into the Kustom '36 Coupe. Then a Seymour Duncan Jazz SH-2 into the Genz-Benz Black Pearl 30. Finally some messing around in Mixolydian in E with as Seymour Duncan '59, through a Jetter Gain Stage Gold, through the Empress Tremolo, and Empress Superdelay into the Genz-Benz Black Pearl 30. To do this vid, I had to turn on the old Sony camcorder, the Panasonic digital camera using its video function, and recording in Sonar. Mixing the video from an AVI source and a Quicktime source stresses out Adobe Premiere Elements. So even though it is kind of mediocre and maybe even painful to watch this since I cranked the pedals, it was a lot of work to put this together! :p Anyhow, I like them both but to I think they would be kicked up a notch if the Fulltone OCD added a bright switch and the Jetter Gain Stage Gold added a fat switch. Recca was an awesome, virtually unknown Famicom title with a pretty bangin' soundtrack (lolwut). Unfortunately, you couldn't hear most of it over the sound effects and more likely than not you couldn't hear the rest of it because the game was so fucking brutally difficult. Just a couple months after an emergency appendectomy, 11 day stay in Pittsburgh Childrens hospital and 13 pound weight loss. 8 year old Richard Jetter's stiff arm allowed him to score a 91 yard touchdown against Chartiers Valley. First of his 4 year career & just 1 of 4 in regular season and 1 in pre season. On defense, Richard hit the quarterback to force a fumble, and run it in for a touchdown against West Allegheny.
