KLM 777-200ER Landing on Schiphol airport Amsterdam, on a cloudy day wich is typical dutch weather a 11 hours flight from Johannesburg South-Africa, a beautifull and comfortable flight. My batteriesof the camera were almost empty i had about 2 minutes left so timing was hard, sorry i don't have the full landing but its a nice landing despite the camera is shaking.

As a fan of electric transport, I've always enjoyed visiting Crich. It is located adjacent to a working quarry in Derbyshire, only about an hour away from where we were staying in Sherwood Forest. The weather was perfect and as it was not yet the peak season, there were no crowds to make filming difficult. Three trams were running- Porto #273 (1927), Johannesburg #60 (1926), and Southampton #45 (1903). A special treat for me was finding the beautifully restored Cardiff water tram #131 tucked away in the car shed, albeit difficult to film. Should anyone be visiting Derbyshire on vacation, this place is a delight- Mervyn
This is just another video of landing at Norfolk International. The weather was rainy but landing and approach wasn't too difficult to land in. The toughest thing was on minimum's the windshifted and threw my aircraft to the left a bit to much but I corrected it with the help of ailerons and the rudder. I still landed pretty close to Center line and stop safely even though no passenger's were on board. Hope my viewer's out there enjoying my fairly ok editing skill's at Vegas Pro 8.0 and this unique fun approach airport. The aircraft I used was Thomas Ruth A300-600F, it is freeware and pretty High Quality nearly payware but still it has simple systems. Great thing about this aircarft is that it's got a really nice Custom VC. For me when I land I always use VC to help me be on the Glideslope and help me make smooth Landing's. To get this aircraft go to: www.flightsim.com Step 1 Search for "FSX A300-600F" Step 2: Find the Thomas Ruth FedEx A300-600F and Download it Step 3: Put the files like you normally do to install freeware Aircraft. Enjoy. To viewer's new to my video's and channel this is a continuation of a video project. This video project is composed of several landing at a viewer requested airport. It will show the airport and different aircraft's landing at that airport. Mostly it will be realistic landings but I get challenge's occasionally so I'll do an unlikely landing. Please Rate and Comment this video, won't take you long ;) Subcribe if you want to see more ...

Mandela family death casts shadow over opening day JOHANNESBURG—The death of Nelson Mandela's granddaughter cast a shadow over the opening day of the World Cup on Friday, dampening the spirits of a nation proud and excited to be hosting the world's most popular sporting event. Zenani Mandela, the 13-year-old great-granddaughter of the former South African President, was killed in a car accident on the way home from a World Cup concert in Soweto on Thursday night, where tens of thousands of people had sung and danced with headline music stars Shakira and the Black Eyed Peas. On Friday, streets in downtown Johannesburg were filled with cars and pedestrians waving South African flags and blowing vuvuzelas in the hours soon after dawn, as news that one of Mandela's nine great grandchildren was emerging. Heavy security was evident in Johannesburg and in Soweto, near the Soccer City stadium where South Africa was opening the tournament on Friday afternoon with a game against Mexico. Johannesburg police spokeswoman Edna Mamonyane said the driver of the car involved in the one-car accident, a male, had been arrested and charged with drink-driving. Mamonyane said the driver, who police would not name, could also face culpable homicide charges. "The Metro police found that he was drunk," Mamonyane said. "He lost control of the vehicle and it collided with a barricade." The Nelson Mandela Foundation rejected media reports that the former president's ex-wife Winnie Madikizela-Mandela ...

This is a video I made of a road trip 3 friends and I made through beautiful South Africa over January 2010. The month long trip started in Johannesburg. First stop was Umhlanga and then all the way to Cape Town along the coastal route and back to JHB. It was an amazing experience and will never be forgotten! Hopefully this video will inspire others to make there next adventure South Africa you will not be disappointed! The trip was more or less planned as we went along. We literally booked our accommodation as we were driving to the next spot thats the beauty of doing this during off peak season, as we didnt have to book in advance we could stay more nights at places we liked and skip the ones we didnt. Besides a dodgy backpacker in Ireland, the whole backpacking experience was new to me. And I absolutely loved it! The backpackers all had there own style and always one big party. From now on I say no thanks to hotels and hell yeah to backpackers!! It was also real easy to find a good backpacker thanks to 2 wee gems known as the Alternative route and Coast to Coast free backpackers guides that list and rate all the backpackers in South Africa. So the stops we made are as follows 1.)Geoff and I left Joburg and met up with Candice and Niel in Umhlanga. 2.)Next Day we left Umhlanga and headed to Coffee Bay. This was meant to be about a 6 hour journey which ended up taking 12 hours as we thought it was a good idea to follow a GPS. It wasnt a good idea! The GPS took us on the ...

A short fly with an Airbus A340 from south african airways from fankfurt to johannesburg. Music from my father
Location: Golden Harvest Park, Northriding, Johannesburg, South Africa This is one the best Fun times we had with Skwatta Kamp on a video shoot and we think the visuals depict that. It's never easy shooting a video for 7 lyricists and one vocalist in one day's sunlight. We had a challenge of shooting everyone's lip-sync within the same day and the weather was playing with us. We were not sure whether it was going Rain or Not. It rained the day before and it rained the day after. And we constantly had a cloud over us the entire day. We obviously kept a brave front and the Film gods were on our side. This video we hope shares with all in South Africa what a Typical Picnic amongst the Urban Black South Africans get to be like, The drinks, the meat, the boys and girls flirting and the area being totally alive. More than this we hope it Teaches the Rest of the world How South Africa is full of Beautiful Aura! Shot on Canon 7D camera which was New from the Box, It was a Total risk even though the DOP(Director of Photography) Ivan Leathers tested it extensively the Director Lumko Dukashe was still worried that should it go through a Technical Error mode, it would mean they can't substitute it with anything in the country. A party got into full swing never the less and a beautiful picture erupted. Skwatta Kamp members all arrived on time which also a first for us in our 5year old relationship we share. We are very proud of the project and SK is also very happy. I hope you enjoy ...

goodnews.ws The second satellite in ESAs Earth Explorer series the Soil Moisture and Ocean Salinity (SMOS) mission and the second demonstration satellite under ESAs Project for Onboard Autonomy (Proba-2) were launched into orbit last night from northern Russia. SMOS will play a key role in the monitoring of climate change on a global scale. It is the first ever satellite designed both to map sea surface salinity and to monitor soil moisture on a global scale. It features a unique interferometric radiometer that will enable passive surveying of the water cycle between oceans, the atmosphere and land. Travelling piggyback on the launch of SMOS, Proba-2 is a follow-on to the highly successful Proba-1 satellite launched in 2001. It will demonstrate 17 advanced satellite technologies such as miniaturised sensors for ESAs future space probes and a highly sophisticated CCD camera with a wide angle view of about 120º while carrying a set of four science instruments to observe the Sun and study the plasma environment in orbit. Two satellites on two orbits. The satellites were launched atop a Rockot launch vehicle provided by Eurockot GmbH. Liftoff from the Plesetsk Cosmodrome in northern Russia took place at 01:50 UTC (02:50 CET) on Monday 2 November. Some 70 minutes after launch, SMOS successfully separated from the Rockots Breeze-KM upper stage. Shortly after, the satellites initial telemetry was acquired by the Hartebeesthoek ground station, near Johannesburg, South Africa. The ...
