John Yohan Cho (born June 16, 1972) is a Korean American film/television Actor/Musician, known for his roles in the American Pie films (1999, 2001, 2003) and Harold & Kumar Go to White Castle (2004).
Cho was born in Seoul, South Korea and raised in Los Angeles, California, where his family immigrated to in 1978. His father is a reverend. Cho graduated from the University of California, Berkeley in 1996 with a BA degree in English. He taught English for some time at Pacific Hills School in West Hollywood, CA. He is married to actress Kerri Higuchi.
Cho's big break was an ancillary role in the 1999 comedy American Pie, in which he popularised the slang term "MILF". His most successful starring role to date was as Harold Lee in 2004's Harold & Kumar Go to White Castle. The Air I Breathe is a 2007 romantic drama/crime film and the directional debut from Korean-American filmmaker Jieho Lee, who co-wrote the script with Bob DeRosa.
