Here's the requisite preview of Kate's 1 hour interview. Natalie interviewed her and goes on the Today Show to tell all about it. ohboyohboy. I don't need to get into this since the actual interview will cover all this. But I can't help myself but go with a rare "what's up with her hair?" Seriously, Kate, your hair is bad to begin with but a bad haircut on a bad hair day just looks awful. I suspect her hair issues are part of staying in the media. The interview with Jon is supposed to be a speaking engagement he did with the rabbi. I am trying to find the full version of it, but supposedly he showed up half an hour late and 75 of the paying 125 guests were media. He spoke for over an hour, and the crowd was sparse. At least Kate can hold a sell out a show.
After the unpleasantness of last week, Nancy Grace ends up on the show again talking about Jon Gosselin. Jon's not on stage this time so he doesn't get to defend himself - maybe that's a good thing. Coverage of the twins' birthday - picking up from school while swarmed by paparazzi, Jon chatting it up with the p-people, and Mady cried when Jon left. Everyone has their own take. Production crew members haul away equipment for filming Friday... could they really be calling it quits on the show? Nancy Grace shoots her mouth off about anything and everything while working on her scowl... she does have some good points of view, and interesting points of discussion. Unfortunately it's hard to hear them with her condescending snide remarks to everyone around her. What a buzzkill. Lastly Jon reacts to seeing internet parodies of Kate and himself on youtube. He finds Kates' amusing, and is a little offended by his. But they're both pretty good (and old). Here's the first part of an interview with Kate from Jon and Kate Plus 8 that originally aired 8-10-09. I hate breaking it up like that in the end, but the whole interview was just over than 10 minutes, even without all the promo hype. This is one of the first interviews since the official announcement of divorce. They supposedly had a 45 day agreement to not give interviews and be quiet about everything, and I think this is Kate's first speaking engagement since the divorce.
This starts off with the ending of the first interview, then all the promo hype stuff, and finally the second interview. The first one was over 10 minutes, so I had to break it down this way.
Here's the appearance of Kate on the Today show to promote her book 8 Little Faces. This includes the promos they showed earlier in the show, so the first bit is a little choppy. What do you think, divorce or no? This originally had 297392 views. She was originally on here to pimp her "book" but just days earlier there were tabloid articles of Jon hooking up with ladies like deanna hummel. Kate had to address the accusations and keep up the charade even though months earlier they had already split and weren't spending any time together.
Reality star Kate Gosselin from the hit show "Jon & Kate plus Eight" was featured on the Jay Leno show. Her segment was called "10 at 10". She wasn't literally there, but visible through video and audio. She answered 10 questions which i found irrellevant to anything in her life and I didn't really hear anything I wanted to hear. However, I did like her in this segment because she seemed happy. She did a great job refraining from saying anything that we might "critize" her for. Jon Gosselin says that even though his ex-wife, Kate, and their kids have a right to appear on the new show "Kate Plus 8," "it's also my right, as a parent, and as a father to my kids, to determine whether the show is good for my family... I don't want them to film anymore," he said. "I don't think it's healthy for them" due to divorce proceedings. "It's not healthy for my kids to be going through this." Gosselin also told King he had no advanced notice that the show would be revamped. "I found out just like everyone else, on an AP news wire" about the format change, he said. King also asked Gosselin if he got along with the network. "I don't get along with the people at TLC," he disclosed.
Jon Gosselin who had his name dropped from the reality series Jon & Kate Plus 8 has just sent two letters through his attorney Mark J. Heller stating TLC is now banned from filming inside his familys home in Pennsylvania. He was not only upset that the show is now called Kate Plus 8, he was also upset that he found out through the media. His lawyer said authorities would be called against any trespassers. The letter noted that both Jon and Kate have ownership of the house along with joint custody of their children.
