READ ME :) Yes, I know I covered a Justin Bieber song. But what do I think of Justin? I found myself with a very similar viewpoint to Kevin Lien, who also covered this song. So instead of taking the time to write out essentially the same thing that he did, I'm just going to copy and paste from his video: For some reason people keep asking me what I think about Justin Bieber and why I chose to cover this song. Honestly, I don't see why it matters. The bottom line is he's one of the most talented young artists the industry has seen in a very, very long time. Here's a tip: just because tweens go crazy over something, doesn't mean it sucks. He was discovered on Youtube, and his vocal ability clearly shows why. Bieber is no doubt the biggest thing right now. I am not inclined to his type of music, but I thought it would be interesting regardless to try it. I found this great arrangement by, Guitartutee, here on youtube. I felt the only way to really make this mine and fresh, but still very much mainstream, was to write new lyrics for this great track. I got to it and created this in a couple of hours. I got the lyrics copyrighted and feel very proud of my first attempt into the mainstream. The bottom line is he's one of the most talented young artists the industry has seen in a very, very long time. Here's a tip: just because tweens go crazy over something, doesn't mean it sucks. "I started singing about three years ago," says the Canadian native who grew up an only child in Stratford, Ontario. "I entered a local singing competition called Stratford Idol. The other people in the competition had been taking singing lessons and had vocal coaches. I wasn't taking it too seriously at the time, I would just sing around the house. I was only 12 and I got second place." In an effort to share his victory with his loved ones, Justin began posting his performance footage online. "I put my singing videos from the competition on YouTube so that my friends and family could watch them," he says. While tons of hot artists and bands took to the New York stage, co-headliners Selena Gomez and Justin Bieber were the big-time fan favorites, based on the audience screams and shouts. JB rocked the stage in a plaid button-down, a baseball cap and tennis shoes. In addition to normal Bieber songs like One Less Lonely Girl, One Time and Baby, Justin also performed a cover of Michael Jackson's Wanna Be Startin' Something and Aerosmith's Walk This Way. My friends and I went to see Justin Bieber at the Nintendo World Store in NYC on September 1st, 2009. The event started at 3:00 and we got there early in the morning to get on line. They only let the first 200 people in and you needed blue wristbands otherwise you were not able to come in. There were 1000 or so girls there, so a lot of them didn't get in. He performed three songs, Lonely Girl, One Time, and Favorite Girl. They will all be on his album 'My World' coming out November 17th. I got to meet him and he signed an autograph for me. It was the best day of my entire life, and he is the cutest thing on the face of the earth. *** I'm not sure what time they stopped letting people in. My cousin got there at 11:30 and she didn't get in, so you had to be there really early. We were in line for 6 & a half hours.

The first people in line said the got there at 11 PM last night and that they CAMPED OUT! I wish I wouuld have known so many people were comming. The whole street was filled with screaming girls. Later they announced that the first 400 people were getting blue wristbands from z100, if you got one you wouuld be able to see Justin preform and get autographs. Once the first people got a wristband, everybody ran! all the baracades were pushed down and everybody was shoving people. every 5 min you wouuld hear a big sceam and then everyone would run. The cops were yelling and telling us no one could get in anynmore but no one belived them. they only let 150 people in in the end! and when he was sigining autogrpahs we watched him from outside! there must have been like 2000 screaming girls sinigng justin's song and sceaming for justin. it was alot of fun =] i wish i would have met him though =[
