On March 12th, 2010, in order to let loose during the stressful spring semester exam week, Kansas State students flash raved Hale Library. Without warning to those that were unaware, over an estimated 3000 students packed the library lobby and brought it hardcore for over 15 minutes. Music played in video is the same played at the rave. *Props to UNC Chapel Hill for the inspiration.
FLASH MOB RAVE in Hale Library on 5/12/10 @ 11:00pm! EPIC!!
Timmy Specht Organized a school wide rave in Hale Library on May the 12th of 2010. The students who participated gathered outside of Hale at 10:30 PM and waited until 11 PM in the rain. During the wait students sang the fight song and other school related things. The Rave was organized to alleviate the stress of Finals Week. The library was not informed of the rave to my knowledge and those students who were studying prior to the rave were in complete shock at 1500 plus students storm into Hale. HaleStorm 2010! [ CORRECTION: I have been notified that there were not 1500 students. there where 2500 plus students!!!]
Students at Kansas State University needed a break from finals... so why not take that study break by having a rave in the middle of Hale Library. Over 2500 Students showed up and raved away!
