The old man was his son C. Take a small peek at the Tamatebako D. On August 23, 2009, Ken Basin became the first contestant to miss the final question on US millionaire. This is the ATA Results: A- 15%, B- 12%, C- 40%, D- 33% How come C is the highest, while A(the right answer) is 25% less than that? That was the last episode in the 10th anniversary special. There are some Japanese people(those who came all the way from Japan) participated the taping of that show. 2010 marks the 10th anniversary of Japanese millionaire, and they want to find out how it was in the US version. There was only one ATA in that episode. I think nearly all those Japanese people voted C, because they think C is most likely to be the right answer in their own version. Here is a sample question: What is the most common blood type in the US? A. Type O B. Type AB C. Type A D. Type B The Japanese will vote C because because Type A is actually the most common blood type in Japan. Although the percentage of people whose blood type is A in the US is close to the one in Japan, there are actually more people who are Type O than Type A. In addition, A is sometimes not the right answer on any questions in one contestants game, such as Toshiaki Kasuga(aired on September 15, 2009).
The best well-known Epic Failure EVER.

The top pize of the Japanese version of millioanire is roughly about 10% to the one in the US version. However, the difficulties of the final question is sometimes 10% to the one in the US version as well. You may have already seen the clip when Ken Basin answer his very DIFFICULT final question wrong. But take a look at this guy, this guy was given a very EASY ¥10000000 question, and he got it WRONG. I just can't believe he embarrassed himself by answering a very easy final question wrong. This is his final question in English: The modern version of the PRC(People's Republic of China)'s national anthem, is orginally a what? A. Foreign Folk song B. Movie Theme song C. Nursery rhyme D. School anthem I don't know whether his crew on the phone or himself think the answer is "A", but I know that almost all the American knew what the answer to this question was, because USA has excellent relations with China. March of the Volunteers, the national anthem of the People's Republic of China is originally the theme song of the 1935 patriotic film "Sons and Daughters in a Time of Storm"(風雲兒女), a story about an intellectual who leaves to fight in the Second Sino-Japanese War. So if this war is related to the Japanese, this guy must be a huge moron. Original air date: April 3, 2003 Encoded by: maksimple

Yuji Tankaka's ¥10 million question in English: According to the "3 Wise Monkeys", one covers its eyes, one covers its ears, and one covers its mouth. What are they covering? A. Evil B. Secret C. Unfortunate D. Desire After thinking for a while, Yuji makes "B: Secret" his final answer. There's actually a commercial during this moment. Take a look at Hikari Ota's disappointment at 7:44. Obviously this is the easiest final question in the history of millionaire. I mean many people know the proverb "See no evil, Hear no evil, Speak no evil", but not this Japanese guy. And worse, 20 weeks later, the curse DID hit the USA. Ken Basin is the target, making him the first contestant ever to get the final question wrong in the US version of millionaire. That episode was aired on August 23 2009. Please favorite, comment, rate and subscribe if you enjoy this video. List of top-prize losers in 2009: 1. Yuji Tanaka(Japan), April 1, 2009 2. Ken Basin will hate Fresca forever....
Ah! I'm afraid that I might get my account deleted because of this!... Anyway, I was awaiting for the guy Ken Basin, a "entertainer lawyer" from Los Angeles, California, to win the million dollar question, only to lose $475000 at the last moment in the 10th anniversery primitime edition of the US edition of millionare (happened to be the last episode of that edition run, what a heartbreak way to end such special...). I felt bad for this guy... Additional sounds by my annoying little brat brother (all of this wasn't edited). Well, hope you enjoy (er, though in bad quality, so don't start with that as I only own a web camera only), comment and sub (and rate 5!)! Note- I don't own Millionare, ABC, or any other company involved with this. *Update- I uploaded this video in less than 10 minutes after it happened...
