On August 23, 2009, Ken Basin became the first contestant to miss the final question on US millionaire. This is the ATA Results: A- 15%, B- 12%, C- 40%, D- 33% How come C is the highest, while A(the right answer) is 25% less than that? That was the last episode in the 10th anniversary special. There are some Japanese people(those who came all the way from Japan) participated the taping of that show. 2010 marks the 10th anniversary of Japanese millionaire, and they want to find out how it was in the US version. There was only one ATA in that episode. I think nearly all those Japanese people voted C, because they think C is most likely to be the right answer in their own version. Here is a sample question: What is the most common blood type in the US? A. Type O B. Type AB C. Type A D. Type B The Japanese will vote C because because Type A is actually the most common blood type in Japan. Although the percentage of people whose blood type is A in the US is close to the one in Japan, there are actually more people who are Type O than Type A. In addition, A is sometimes not the right answer on any questions in one contestants game, such as Toshiaki Kasuga(aired on September 15, 2009).
