Off my own LP. Images of the album covers (front and back) and sleeve I took myself. Who are the White Animals? "They weren't the most successful band to come out of the Southeast during the '80s (REM hold that distinction), or even the most critically acclaimed (that would be Jason & the Scorchers), but Nashville's the White Animals may well have been the most beloved. Mixing '60s British Invasion influences with a '70s punk aesthetic, a dash of psychedelic flavor, and dub rhythms, the White Animals managed to appeal to both jaded indie rock fans and mainstream college kids alike. Punching the clock close to 300 nights a year, the White Animals played every show, whether for drunken frat boys or at the local punk club, like it might be their last. The White Animals were formed in 1980 by Dr. Kevin Gray, a resident at Nashville's Vanderbilt Hospital. Originally an acoustic duo with Gray and his guitar teacher, the project took on a life of its own with the addition of guitarist Rich Parks, bassist Steve Boyd, and drummer Ray Crabtree. The quartet formed their own Dread Beat label to release the Nashville Babylon EP in 1981. Produced by "dubmaster" Tim Coats, the disc's mix of pop covers, paisley punk, and dub beats received heavy airplay on several college radio stations. Coats was asked to join the band full-time, leading to the 1982 release of Lost Weekend, which yielded college-radio hits in Lee "Scratch" Perry-inspired covers of "These Boots Are Made for Walkin'" and ...

Taylor Lautner - His Life Story We know you want to hear the details on Taylor Lautner. Keep watching for the Twilight hottie's profile. Hi, I'm Dana Ward with Clevver TV. In this episode, we're talking all about Taylor Lautner. Taylor Lautner did indeed have an entire life before grabbing the role of Jacob in 2008's Twilight film. While the werewolf character really catapulted Taylor Lautner into stardom, his big-time breakout into the industry was at the age of 13 when, because of his karate experience, he booked a starring action role in tThe Adventures of Shark Boy and Lavagirl 3-D. Taylor intensely trained in martial arts starting from the age of 6, and through the years, he won several gold medals and ranked number-1 internationally in multiple Black Belt competitions. In fact, it was reportedly his instructor who encouraged Taylor Lautner to audition for a Burger King ad when he was 7, which he didn't book but it made him want to pursue acting and ultimately he and his family moved to sunny Los Angeles at the age of 10. Did I mention Taylor Lautner supposedly was a very good student, even through the training and the move? During the last few years in Southern California, you could have caught Taylor Lautner in The Bernie Mac Show, Summerland, Cheaper by the Dozen 2, My Wife and Kids and more. The reported basics on Taylor Daniel Lautner include that he's 5-10-and-a-half, his heritage is French, Dutch and German and he was born in Grand Rapids, Michigan on February ...

MC Lars, the original Post Punk Laptop Rapper returns with This Gigantic Robot Kills. The title is from a meeting MC Lars had with his musical idol, the legendary Wesley Willis, who told him "Lars Horris! I like your songs, I'll write a song about you. I'll probably write it on my next rock 'n' roll record, which is called 'This Gigantic Robot Kills'." Willis died soon thereafter, and Lars decided to dedicate his new album to Wesley's memory by naming it after that unfinished album. To complete TGRK, MC Lars also called on Weird Al, members of Wheatus, Simple Plan, Suburban Legends, The Aquabats, Cobra Starship, The Donnas, Parry Gripp, Paul Gilbert, Jesse Dangerously, Amie Miriello, Jonathan Coulton, K. Flay, The Former Fat Boys, his tour mates MC Frontalot and YT Cracker and more. MC Lars has toured extensively for the last three years creating a solid fanbase the old fashioned way, with a great live show. He has opened for the likes of Bowling For Soup, Gym Class Heroes, Bayside, Streetlight Manifesto, Simple Plan, Say Anything and much more. If you've looked at my youtube favorites at all, I'm sure you can tell without reading this that I'm a big David Cook fan. I'm so glad the man won on that show (American Idol) because I would have never discovered his cd "Analog Heart" if he hadn't and it is fantastic, kids. Check it out. This song, "Light On" is actually from his new self-titled album and I just love it. Check that out too! I think I need a Neal but other than that, I worked it out some how. Hope you like it, and sorry about the Mac mic sensitivity... Comments and requests are lovely! Follow me on twitter: www.twitter.com Follow me on tumblr: mydaydreammelody.tumblr.com
my new CD, "words, words, words," is here: itunes.apple.com NEW TOUR FALL 2010 tickets here: tinyurl.com performed at youtube live! music and lyrics by bo burnham this happened in san francisco and was hosted by the likes of william sledd and whatthebuck -- ie it was the opposite of a prop 8 victory party. thats all. :) I used to walk through life, now I frolic. Youtube has been like a father to me, Except Youtube's not an alcholic. Before Youtube I was just a skinny white kid, that thought he was funnier, & cooler than he actually was. and now not much has changed, but I have a shitload of money. Because Youtube is a place for people to share their ideas. If by people you mean 13-year-old girls, and by ideas you mean how they love the Jonas Brothers. I'm just kidding But let's be honest, that's a hefty majority. And if you don't believe me You must be a noob So, Welcome to Youtube! You don't know what you're missing, and just by searching, "Women Kissing". -It's Youtube! This country's been needing a generation of kids who don't waste their time reading. Am I the only one who thinks that Lisa Nova's hot? And Chris Crocker's not... he's hotter. Most of the best Youtubers are either asian or their gay. So if there's an untapped youtube celebrity, and his name is George Takei and your favorite coat has a doo-doo stain. I pray to god that it's chocolate rain And I find videos of babies laughing a bit intrusive. Because Barack Obama won the election because of Youtube Wait ...

Dante & Dusan of www.thebrownboys.ws decide they want to try their hand singing and rapping, when poets at Chicago's 2008 Arts & Crafts Festival ask "Are there any freestylers in the building." LOL Check this vid out to see The Brown Boys rock The Taste of Chicago www.youtube.com These little guys are so bold, my husband and I didn't think anything of it, until they said "Hey Mommy, Daddy... can we go up there?" We asked what will you do and they said "You'll have to wait and see." HD Version: www.itsjonsalmon.com Article about the video www.canyon-news.com About Abby and Rafael: www.myspace.com/abrafever Just to set the story straight: the facepainted kids in the video are a boy and girl from Los Angeles, two friends of mine, names Raf and Abby. MGMT was not involved in the making of this video, however, they became involved down the line. The story goes like this: December 2007: Rushing to make a due date for a USC Music Video class, I ask my friends Raf and Abby to appear in my video. I like the way they bounce off of each other despite completely different personality types, and think they both have interesting faces. Raf didn't want to shave so I didn't push him. We shot in one night, I cut overnight, turn it in and call it the worst thing I've done so far. January 2008: On a whim one night while visiting home in Austin, Texas, I throw the video on Youtube just for kicks. April 2008: Ray Tintori, who has directed 3 official videos for MGMT, finds my fan video online and invites myself and my two actors to come to New York to appear in MGMTs next official video for Electric Feel. May 2008: We go to New York and have a great time on the set with the band and all their friends.
Thanks YouTube for Featuring this video. We are glad you love it even the 2nd time around. When we released this video the first time Mia the head Editor of YouTube wrote us and said she loved the vid and wanted to feature it front page...IF... We took out the U2 song(In The Name Of Love)which is used in the background. We felt and still feel the song is too big of a part of the message of this video to just cut out. It truely is part of it. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. was no doubt one of the greatest men who ever lived. He did more for human rights in his cut short life then perhaps any man in history. The YoungTubers honor Dr. King's Life. He made this world a much better place.
