"I'm an alcoholic," Richards said. And in case you didn't hear her the first time, she repeated: "I'm an alcoholic." The socialite entered rehab recently and previously revealed on the show that she was consuming a cocktail of prescription pills. "She may have to go to rehab in order to save her job on the show," a source close to Richards told Star magazine back in November. Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star, Kim Richards, has checked herself into rehab. Kim has had an ongoing battle with substance abuse that has been highlighted on the show in recent seasons. She spent the majority of the year denying she had a drinking problem, even after her sister called her out on the show's season finale. TMZ obtained this video of him drunk in the airport about 1 year ago. Friends reportedly held an intervention to convince her that she needed help. While some friends are running to the tabloids, others like Taylor Armstrong send their love and support and hope that Kim gets the help she needs. And in other news, Rosie O'Donnell has decided to tie the knot with girlfriend of 3 months, Michelle Rounds. The two met at a starbucks a few months back, where Rosie first noticed Michelle holding a little puppy. Rosie says she thought she was a 28 year old straight girl because that's what she looked like. Well apparently that's what she looked like to her parents too, because they didn't even know Michelle was into women until the news of the romance broke back in september. The couple is very happy together, tweeting pics of the rock resting on Rosie's fiancee's finger. Rosie currently lives in Chicago where she is taping her show for the OWN Network. I wonder if she knows gay marriage is not yet legal in the state of Illinois.

Though it isn't clear what affliction Richards, 47, is seeking treatment for, her use of alcohol has become a point of concern on the series. During the "Beverly Hills" season finale last January, Richards' sister, Kyle Richards, lashed out at her sister, accusing her of being an alcoholic. More recently, in an episode that aired in October, Richards' new castmate, Brandi Glanville, accused Richards of being "wasted out of her f***ing mind," an accusation that Richards denied at the time. The second season of "Real Housewives of Beverly Hills," which premiered in September, has already been marred by tragedy, with the August suicide of cast member Russell Armstrong -- a month his wife, Taylor Armstrong, filed for divorce -- casting a shadow over the season.
