A music video I made for the recently released video game "Red Dead Redemption" by Rockstar Games. For the video I used the song "Knights of Cydonia" by Muse because it fit the game really well. I do not own neither the footage or the music. Just did it as a fan project for the love of the art.

Loyal fans of this music extravaganza enjoyed two days packed full of unforgettable live performances. Over the past twelve years, some festivals have not been able to live up to the standard set by V - it is the festival that music fans talk about and struggle to get tickets for simply because it gets the greatest acts around. The bands travelled between two venues on the 16th and 17th August performing to 160000 loyal fans each day. The fantastic line up this year included the likes of Muse, Lenny Kravitz, Amy Winehouse, Duffy, The Verve, The Prodigy, The Kooks, Stereophonics, Amy MacDonald, Kaiser Chiefs, Kings Of Leon, Gabriella Cilmi.
From the album black holes and revalations knights of cydonia is a muse classic.One of the weirdest music videos in my mind.

About The Gig: Abbey Road Studios (Live From Abbey Road) 28th August 2006 About the Song: Taking its cues from Mariachi bands and the 'Doctor Who' theme tune, the track sounds like a soundtrack to a spaghetti western set in the far reaches of the galaxy and features a chain-smoking trumpeter called Franco. The intro features sounds of horses neighing and galloping, as well as laser guns firing. he intro of the song, especially Bellamy's guitar, is significantly influenced by the sound of The Tornados' hit single, Telstar, of which Bellamy's father, George Bellamy, was the rhythm guitarist. The percussion bears similarity with I Want to Break Free, which they covered as an instrumental before Knights of Cydonia in Rolling Stone 2006. While Muse is well-known around the world (I think), we in America know them as "the band that did the awesome songs in Guitar Hero and Twilight" But really, though, why doesn't America like good music such as this? This has been my longest song yet, and has definitely been the most challenging as well. This is part of Cat333Pokemon's Mario Paint Album Contest.

Great song by a great band. Finally managed to 100% it, which is a good accomplishment for me, since fast strumming is generally my Achilles Heel. Also, my videos are now been made with a gamebridge so hopefully the quality is still decent :) EDIT : I agree with everybody that the quality sucks, but the avi file I upload really looks great - I don't know what youtube does to butcher the quality, but the source quality is actually very good :(
