The Krughoff Wurlitzer plays "Napoleon's Last Charge". Tune identified by Peter Mackett.
The Krughoff Wurlitzer demonstrates it's power as it plays "Under the Double Eagle." I enjoy listening to the trompette en chamades up on the ceiling in the back of the room. They make their presence known!
The 97 key Van Steenput/Verbeeck organ playing "Lassus Trombone." The organ is owned by the Krughoffs. What an awesome sounding organ!
Krughoff's beautiful Model 38 Ruth (96 keyless) playing "Caprice Italian." I had to do a small excerpt due to battery and camera memory running out. The complete piece was amazing!
The Krughoff's 52 keyless Gebruder Bruder model 107 playing "Schlager Potpourri 1930". The tunes in this medley include "Bim Bam Bula", "Sonny Boy", and "Just a Gigolo." Tunes identified by Peter Mackett.
Jim Krughoff cranking his Bacigalupo organ. I'm unsure of the size, but I think that the organ has astounding trumpets for an organ that size.
Sherrie Krughoff cranking "La Vie en Rose" on the 40 key Verbeeck organ.
I am cranking "Wedding of the Winds" on the Krughoff's 40 key Verbeeck organ.
Stefan Batist cranking "Abendlied" on the Krughoff's 40 key Verbeeck organ.

The 97 key Van Steenput (Puurs, Belgium) - Verbeeck Concertorgan de Grote Steenput (de Windmolen) plays music especially arranged for one of the two big Van Steenput Concertorgans ever made. This piece, a March, was part of the music library of the second Van Steenput instrument which was destroyed in WWII. Because the music of this organ was stored in another building some of the organbooks survived and are now part of the music library at de Grote Steenput. The March is called: Marche de Vainqueurs de la Marne. This organ was built in 1928 by the Van Steenput Brothers in Puurs (Belgium). The organ spent most of its time in The Netherlands presented by Mr. Wind. During its stay in the Netherlands the organ also was called "de Windmolen" (the Windmill). In 1993 the organ was restored by the famous Firm of Johnny Verbeeck, St-Job-in't-Goor, Belgium and purchased by collectors Jim and Sherrie Krughoff, Down Groves IL, USA. They proudly present the organ in an outstanding collection of many other mechanical musical instruments.

AEI Event: "Can We Tell Physicians Apart without Better Scorecards?" December 2, 2009 www.aei.org EVENT INFORMATION: Improving the availability of accurate and actionable information about the comparative performance of physicians could assist efforts to upgrade the affordability and quality of US health care. However, getting from theory to practice in achieving those objectives has remained quite challenging. This forum examined several recent initiatives that hold promise for better performance. Robert Krughoff of Consumers Checkbook and the Center for the Study of Services will highlight the results of a three-city pilot project that surveyed consumers on their experience of care with individual physicians. Bruce Steinwald of the Government Accountability Office described how Medicare claims data can be used to profile the resource use of physicians and provide them with confidential feedback to improve the efficiency of the care they deliver. Thomas P. Miller of AEI examined how the latest House and Senate health reform bills attempt to improve the measurement and reporting of physician performance and will suggest how to meet the different information needs of different audiences--patients, physicians, and payers--more effectively.
