First paddle on Lake Hartwell from Sadlers Creek State Park, South Carolina, in my Advanced Elements Expedition inflatable/foldable kayak.
This is Moto #3 of a 3 moto format. Moto 1 was actually the first moto for this new boat, and Jeremy scored a 4th after recovering from an early missed bouy. With moto results of 4th, 1st, 1st, He earned 2nd place for the event. Special thanks to: TiAL Sport for the 2010 support with the best turbochargers, blow off valves, and watercooled wastegates money can buy... Also a shout out to Champion Motorsport. Without the team work that was put into this project, it would still be on the drawing board.

Jetski Race Lake Hartwell
We are using a Sabiki Rig to catch herring. The herring are down about 20 feet tonight. The surface water temperature was 90.5 degrees. Because of the high surface temperature the bait will not survive in the bait tank long, so it's best to catch them, bait up and get them down as quickly as possible.
Getting set up for night time striper fishing, we use a 400 watt sodium vapor lamp to draw up blue-black herring that we use for bait. This spot was productive for us last summer.
This is a montage of me and a couple of friends out on Lake Hartwell set to "Otherside" by the Red Hot Chili Peppers. We aren't exactly the greatest at slalom or wakeboarding but we still have fun. Seeing myself ski in slow motion has helped me get better. Hopefully I can get some newer footage up soon.
I went to the lake with some friends for the July fourth weekend and had an absolutely amazing time! this video is just a taste of the experience! :)

On Jan. 15th 2010, the 12 dam gates were opened for the first time in three years for testing. The lake and dam are on the Savannah River, which is the border between Georgia and South Carolina. I love the rainbow that developed in the spray as the water spilled down the Savannah.
Down Green Pond Road I found a boat ramp and dock where I could get out and enjoy a few moments at the water. It was too cold to dip my feet, but the sun was glorious! Sorry about the dirty windshield.
