By studying a macabre collection of decaying lampreys, scientists have found that certain body features rot away before others - and that the bits that are first to go are the most useful to palaeontologists. This decay bias makes it much more difficult to distinguish them from their ancestors and could mean that many fossils have been wrongly placed in evolutionary trees. And then maybe bring them up to a size about to cm. in September/October 2009. Only time can tell if it will work or not. I know it will not be easy. I know it can be done and I have to be careful how I do it. Maybe then it will succeed.

Or bring the lampreys back to the "wild"/more natural fish tank. Lampreys spawn where there is a good water flow. I "copy" this using an air stone and a little ...
